- ABS has never had a registered Licensee by the name, "Linda Ashby", therefore the facts quoted in this, and previous postings may be questionable.

- American Business Systems, LLC is a Texas Limited Liability Company registered with the State of Texas and in complete compliance with all regulatory requirements. Originally the company was American Billing Systems, Inc. The name of the company was changed in 2007 because ABS added several services that are offered by it's Licensees that are not billing services.

- ABS partnered with technology partner, Medrium, in March of 2001 to offer a privately-branded Online Practice Management System. Medrium has been described as the market and technology leader for purely web-based practice management solutions, as quoted in the Dunn & Bradstreet article mentioned at www.allbusiness.com.

- The ABS System utilizes two of the largest clearinghouses in the nation, Emdeon and McKesson, which are both publicly traded, and well known in the industry for providing the highest levels of customer support.

- The ABS System includes real-time patient scheduling, accessible through any computer with an Internet connection, a HIPAA-compliant internal communications system for communicating with your doctors and staff, e-records (scanning and storage of patient documents), extensive online real-time reporting, label and claim printing, continually up-to-date ICD and CPT code database, redundant storage of data on servers located in two different geographical locations, automatic daily backups, accessibility of all patient records and reports via any cell-phone with a browser and Internet connection.

-ABS, along with a number of other technology partners, are constantly researching and developing new features and is dedicated to providing the most complete, constantly evolving online, web-based Practice Management System on the market; including real-time eligibility verification, e-prescriptions, charting, interoperability and all other features of electronic health records as being discussed by the Obama administration. Many of these technology requirements are being developed in conjunction with in accordance with the standards accepted in the healthcare community, many of which will not be in place until the latter part of 2009.

- ABS was the first training and support company in the nation focused on teaching business development and marketing for independent medical billing businesses, as well as offering the nation's first web-based billing system.

- Licensees have 24/7 secure access to the ABS Online Practice Management System and can download the data at any time, thus, are in complete control over their business and data. ABS does not have access to Licensee login information, and thus, is not able to "lock out" anyone from their account.

- The Patient Payment Plan is a proprietary and stand-alone software program that ABS first developed in 1994. Over the years, it has been rewritten, tested and improved and includes a built-in database of over 30,000 federal reserve banks. It is not licensed to or integrated with any other medical billing system and is exclusively licensed to ABS Licensees.

- Licensees incur a monthly fee for utilizing the ABS Online Practice Management System. Fees range depending upon how many new clients a Licensee takes on as well as how many claims are processed. For details, contact ABS.

- All ABS Marketing Materials are available on their website. Marketing materials are updated on an annual or as-needed basis.

- The ABS Online Practice Management System has a proven record of reimbursing clients in an average of 7-21 days.
