Tutao GmbH Tutanota Closed my email account with at least 3-4 months left to go on the paid service.

Tutanota TOS says their free email account must be accessed at least every six months, or they can shut it down.  I specifically turned the free account into a paid account exactly for that reason, several years ago. Early this year I paid in full (via Paypal), which should of kept the account open through February of 2022.

A few days ago I went to access the paid email account, only to be informed it had been shut down for failure to log-in within the six month time limit...when there is no such time limit mentioned in the TOS for paid email accounts.

Clicking on their 'contact' to register complaint took me to a login page, which I cannot login to, since the account has been closed. Everything about this smells like a rip-off.

I have since changed my emails to another provider, so their services will no longer be wanted. I merely wish others to be forewarned of their shady business practice, and to advise any future customers to stick to their free email account, as Tutanota cannot be trusted with money for a paid account.
