Complaint Review: UNIQUEGADGS.COM - IL
UNIQUEGADGS.COM I ordered item form site, few days later they sent email saying item out of stock. I replied please refund to my credit card. They refunded the money MINUS 5%. I feel like this site offers a lot of merch they do not actually have and then pulls this 5% trick when you ask for refund for out of stock item. IL
I ordered item from uniquegadgs.com which Ive never used before, because they offered a hard-to-find item. Before ordering, I emailed uniquegadgs.com help address, to verify that they actually had this item in the correct color. I got no response but really wanted the item,so I took leap of faith and ordered it.
I got an email from them couple days later that the item was out of stock. I immediately requested a refund. They refunded money MINUS 5%. When I contacted them to say there is an error, you refunded less than owed, they gave explanation of "nobody online gives full refund, because of platform tax blah blah". I contacted American Express to complain and AMX refunded the missing $5% to me pending investigation.
I feel that uniquegadgs.com sells some items they do not actually have and then pulls this 5% trick when you ask for a refund. I should have known this site was unreliable because there are no legit reviews to be found. Buyer Beware!
