I am a narrator of audio books. I work through an independent third party which requires a signed contract by authors, rightholders and narrator. I narrated an audio book for Dan Howe who is the rightsholder. After taking possession of the book he not only cancelled the project but refused to pay me. According to the third parties contract anytime the rightsholder cancels after completion of the book the rightsholder must pay a cancellation fee.
