Sam McAbee - 5mtl.com - 5 Minutes To Live 5 minutes to live,..but what's the rush? Atlanta Georgia

Using my amex cc I placed an online order @ 5mtl.com for 2 dvds on 2/10/09. On the same date I received 2 emails in reply informing me of my order # and approval code. The website states that all domestic orders are shipped via usps priority mail, ($6.00), with an expected delivery time of 7-10 business days. (An observation worth mentioning is that one of the emails I received stated that my order would be shipped by standard delivery. Perhaps I am unaware of the fact that priority and standard are one and the same, but I thought there was a distinction).

Irregardless of whatever shipping method Sam McAbee uses, my order ain't gonna arrive unless he actually sends it. Now, I know how difficult it can be to find a competent blacksmith these days, but if he sent my dvds by pony express or mule team and there has been a delay until the beasts worn out horseshoes can be replaced, I fully understand. If by some chance I misread the location of his business as being Atlanta, Georgia, when it's actually Atlantis, then in consideration of the fact that my order is being sent from a lost continent, I'll take back my complaint and wait patiently. In all seriousness it's discourteous not to have replied to either of my emails requesting a usps tracking #. Today is 3/02/09, it's been 20 days and I have yet to receive my order.
. After reading about other peoples negative experiences with Sam McAbee and 5 minutes to lve.com on ripoff report, it seems that his standard approach to business is pretty lackadaisical. I placed an order and he took my money for services rendered, he should render those services in a timely fashion. Either that or just tell the truth on his website which is, apparently; "I am the only existing source for the rare dvds you seek. Therefor, I will take your money and send you your order, but only if and when I get around to it" . I'll file an update when this situation is resolved.
