The simple version:  I paid them $200 for half a cord of fire wood to be delivered and stacked behind my house which I was told would be no problem. After many missed delivery dates for over a week..  They finally show up and tell me I will have to pay more to have it stacked.  When I called the Owner back I was threatened and cursed at.  They are thief’s as they took $200 and I have nothing but wasted time.

The long story with details:

On 1/5/2015 at 2:45 PM EST I Arrived on site at: 279 Arnold Mill Rd Woodstock GA & 281 Arnold Mill Rd Woodstock GA.  Talked with Employee Jim about having half cord of firewood delivered and stacked.  Since they were local and I planned on reusing them each year I Paid $179.00.  I advised him that they would not be able to drive on property but that it is a very small lot and he said it would be no problem.  Since I needed a small amount I paid another $21 for a small bundle for the night.  In Total I Paid $200 for a Half Cord to be delivered and stacked.  I was told that it would be delivered and stacked first thing in the morning that they were busy all day.

On Tuesday 1/6/2015 at 6:10 PM I get a call from 678-900-2536 and Jim said that they were unable to deliver the wood and they would deliver it on 1/7/2015 by noon.

On Thursday 1/8/2015 at 9:39 AM I called the number back and left a message in regards to the delivery.  I received a call back from 404-484-0762 That asked what I wanted.  I explained the situation and they said they had no idea what I was talking about that they would call me back.

I did not get a call back but I did stop by and was told they had an employee theft and that they would deliver the wood.  In which they did not.

I stopped by again and they said they were busy and could not get to it but would deliver the wood.  Finally I called the owner: Preston W. Robertson at 770-899-3272 and was told they would deliver it first thing in the morning Saturday.  I left to go out of town and did not get back until Sunday and they had still not delivered the wood.  I called again Monday and was assured they would deliver the wood Tuesday.  I was not optimistic but was trying to be as understanding as I could.

The amazing delivery…  Tuesday on 1/12/2015 at 4:25 PM a truck arrives.  Yeah!  Well almost.  It is pouring rain and has been all day.  The guy says he will need to drive the truck onto the sod in front of our house.  I told him it would ruin my yard and he said I would have to pay him to stack it.

I called Preston W. Robertson back at 770-899-3272 and before I could even tell him the situation…  Apparently his deliver guy already called him.  He started yelling at me cussing and said they delivered the wood and that was all they had to do..  I explained to him I would be at his office to get my money back first thing in the morning and he explained if I tried to stop by he would press charges against me and counter sue for anything I sue for?  Kind of a strange response for screwing a customer over.

The best I can say is if you use these group of people you are being screwed over either knowingly or unknowingly but apparently they are professional swindlers.  I have no doubt they do worse to others.  Good luck!  And avoid them if you can.
