I was given a $60 gift certificate from this nail salon for Xmas last year, 2014. When I went to use it in October 2015 they told me the certificate was only good for 4 months. What A Rip-off! You pay $60 and can't use the certificate after 4 months?
I believe they put this short time on the gift certificate knowing a lot of folks will forget to come in for services within the time period. The salon can make money off customers without doing any work or giving them any services.
it's like putting your money in the bank and if you haven't used it in 4 months the bank tells you they are going to keep your money. I believe, if you give a company money for services they should be required to provide the services no matter how long it takes. They still have your money!
