A-Appliance Xperts Inc Took my Money and never fixed the appliances! And, broke other appliances! chicago Illinois

A few of our appliances needed repairing - our washing maching wasn't working properly, our Thermador cooktop range had two burners that were not working, a downdraft vent was not working and the light to our refrigerator was out.  We called this outfit and they said they would send somebody out immediately.  A guy came to the house and looked at all the appliances and said the washing machine was not repairable and the other repairs were fixable.  He said they do not take credit cards, only checks, and he needed $350.00 and would come back with the ordered parts to make the repairs.

I called about a month later wondering where the part was for the cooktop and he said it was still on order.  It finally came in May (they originally came out in November before the Holidays).  The guy tried to fix the cooktop but he could not take off the burner assembly.  He then attempted to repair the downdraft vent - the fan now worked but they BROKE the mechanism that retracts the downdraft vent into the counter.

We called them throughout the summer wanting our appliances repaired since they took the deposit by check. THey finally sent someone out late in the summer but he was not successful in repairing the cooktop.  So it was going on 8 months now. Then, I spoke to the owner and he said he would make the repairs for free since we waited so long and that they broke our vent.  A technician came to our house finally to make the repair and he wanted another down payment!  Unbelievable.  I told him the owner said the repair was supposed to be free since we had been waiting so long, without saying a word, the repairman gathered his tools and left the house. Never to be seen again.

So here we are years later, with still only 2 burners working on the cooktop, the downdraft vent still is broken and by the way, the washing machine was repairable- apparently the guy didn't want to bother with it.  

This is the worse run business I have ever experienced, run by a bunch of inept people who just want your money and no regard for your appliances.  They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.
