A & E Factory Service Refrigerator out Friday after Thanksgiving and still not fixed 3 weeks later. Internet

We purchased a Maytag Refrigerator from Sears and while still under warranty the compressor went out. I called the 800 number for Maytag and wouldn't you know it...only a computer to. The computer asked 'yes' and 'no' questions so how do you tell them the compressor quit. This was Friday after Thanksgiving and I was told that a service man would be there on Dec. 3rd, 10 days after the call.

In the mean time we lived out of a large cooler until I couldn't stand it and on Sunday we had to go buy a refrigerator if we were going to have a life. A & E employees could care less what your problem is as long as it's not theirs, because the repairman came in on Monday and told me, yes, the compressor needs to be replaced. He checked the schedule to see when he could come back and found out they only service our area on Monday!

On the following Monday we were scheduled between 8AM and 5PM for service. Finally at 5PM I received a call telling me they were over booked and would not be able to service my refrigerator and would schedule me for the next Monday. If I had not been in the middle of a store at the time I received the call they would have been blasted. However, I did argue with the foreign speaking girl and she supposedly asked someone if it could be scheduled sooner, but of course not.

After a sleepless night, I have decided to do something and file complaints to every agency I know. After seeing all the complaints on this website, I don't know how they stay in business.
