Ripoff Report Verified™ REVIEW

EDitor's UPDATE: Positive rating and recognition has been given to AA Auto Protection for its full commitment to quality customer service.

Ripoff Report's discussions with AA Auto Protection have uncovered an ongoing dedication by the company to total client satisfaction. This means that clients can expect that the company will work towards finding a mutually satisfactory resolution to any concerns. AA Auto Protection listens carefully to client concerns and sees them as an opportunity to learn from past mistakes and become more efficient as a company in the services offered and the support for those services.

AA Auto Protection is a vehicle service contract broker dedicated to providing extended contracts directly to consumers, as opposed to them buying from the dealership at the time of purchase. Their company allows the consumer the freedom to purchase a warranty at any time. James Fortino expressed that not only is AA Auto Protection dedicated to providing quality services, but also high quality customer service, "we are trying to get to the point where we are doing more than we are supposed to do for our customers...we are trying to improve our name by utilizing avenues such as Ripoff Report in order to take the next steps in regards to getting our reputation as strong as possible."

AA Auto Protection is dedicated to customer care and satisfaction. Under new management since 2015, AA Auto Protection has implemented numerous improvements to continue its role as a leader in the industry. Along with total rebranding from top to bottom, the company has instituted a new training process for all its employees to ensure excellent service, clear communication and customer satisfaction as the highest priorities. AA Auto Protection focuses on providing the best available coverage for vehicle owners at the lowest possible price. In 2005, AA Auto Protection was the first company to post actual contracts online for customers to review before making a purchase - a service which the new management is keeping in place. The company has also instituted a 100% money back guarantee giving customers an added layer of confidence. They also now have knowledgeable and friendly staff who are only a phone call away Monday through Saturday to assist with any questions or concerns.

AA Auto Protection is Ripoff Report Verified
Ripoff Report Verified™ .. part of Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation & Customer Satisfaction Program.A program that benefits the consumer, assures them of complete satisfaction and confidence when doing business with a member business..

The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by James Fortino during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward Continental Who's Who.

Leads for AA Auto Protection are generated through Google Ad Words. Once a potential customer expresses interest in their services they can go to the AA Auto Protection website to fill out basic information about there needs and the type of vehicle they have. From there they are given a quote ID number, "they can contact us at a later time with that quote ID number and speak directly with a representative. The representative will show them what options are available and the pricing for those options." If the potential customer does not reach out to AA Auto Protection directly the quote ID is generated in house, and assigned to a representative as a possible lead. Once a customer has decided on a policy, "they will verbally agree by phone that they are purchasing to policy. We will do verification by internet, basically an electronic signature statement stating that they agree to the terms and conditions...we then send out copies of their contracts, booklets, ID cards and things of that nature to them."

CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION FROM AA AUTO PROTECTION

During the onsite interview Mr. Fortino was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Fortino expressed that as a broker of vehicle service contracts the most difficult situations occur when a customer's claims have been denied by administrators. While AA Auto Protection is not responsible for the claim being denied, customers can reflect their anger onto the company, "most of our complaints online are claim related even though it was not us who denied the claim." If a situation like this arises the customer is directly to Mr. Fortino, "I do damage control anytime the situation gets beyond the point of normal customer service. I'm the one who would directly handle the problem at that point in time." While some situations are out of AA Auto Protection's hands because they deal directly with insurance companies they deliver quality customer service, "we make sure the customer understands that everything has been done that we can do."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Fortino explained that most customers have a preconceived notion of what a warranty should include, " everyone has seen the commercials that went on in the 90’s and early 2000’s, everything was bumper to bumper. That’s the only thing you ever heard on any car commercial. I’ll go back and listen to calls and at no time were the words bumper to bumper even been used, yet for some reason the customer is under the impression that they purchased a bumper to bumper policy. The salesman will explain the actual parts that are covered, what’s not covered; the person will still be under that same impression." In order to combat misunderstandings like this all calls are submitted to the Vehicle Protection Association, "they take calls; they listen to them and grade them. After grading the calls, the calls are turned over to the appropriate administrations that are tied to them."

AA Auto Protection is proud to be a part of Ripoff Report's Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program. Mr. Fortino further explains by stating, "I think that by us doing these customers are going to see that if I have a problem with AA Auto Protection, they will help me. They’re not just going to ignore me. They’re going to respond back to me. They’re going to give the consumer the opportunity to express how they really feel. They are going to try and help to the best of their ability."

AA AUTO PROTECTION – MISSION STATEMENT

"AA Auto Protection’s mission is to protect its customers with a Vehicle Service Contract buying experience that ensures their car’s coverage at the time of need, their money’s protection via high quality contract options, and their contract’s protection by being backed up by AM Best insurance companies.

High Quality

We promise to you high quality plans along with high quality service. We diligently work to research the best providers in the nation and then select the best insured Vehicle Service Contracts to make available to our customers. All the options available here at AA Auto Protection are guaranteed to offer value and worth to you so you can relax and find a plan that meets your car’s needs without worrying about the quality of the contract.

A Comprehensive Agency

AA Auto Protection is a comprehensive agency, in that it provides a wide variety of plans and products for you to choose from. We believe every car has its own needs, and limiting those needs to just a few choices of contracts doesn’t deliver efficiency to car owners. This is why, while we focus on bringing only high quality contracts, we also provide a wide spectrum of plans since everyone’s situation is different. We have Full Coverage Plans, Premium Stated Component Plans, Stated Component Plans, Powertrain Plans, and more.

Best Priced Agency

When it comes to insured plans from top providers in the nation, you won’t find better prices anywhere else! We make sure that whatever price you pay for a Vehicle Service Contract is a price that equals full value. We know that there are cheaper plans available in the market but they don’t promise safety like we do – additionally, we guarantee that you will never have to pay the claims!

Experienced

AA Auto Protection is an agency managed by members that are experienced in the Vehicle Service Contract. We know what the market sells, we understand what consumers are in search for and we utilize our expertise in our research of finding the best plans from the best providers. We been in business for more than 12 years and continuously look for new ways to improve and enhance our service for our clients.

Committed to Customers

AA Auto Protection has always been committed to customer satisfaction. Just recently we updated our management team to put more emphasis on customer protection, customer service, and customer satisfaction. Dedicated to making sure you have a seamless and enjoyable experience with us, we are eager to serve your service contract needs in every way possible.

Work by Valuable Work Ethos

Our company is based on valuable work ethos that have made us a trustworthy agency from the start. Our staff are dedicated to discipline, professionalism, research and knowledge based mindset, and enthusiasm to provide the best service possible. We are truly dedicated to leading our industry in every way possible.

Provide Easy Pay Advantage and Money Back Guarantee

We understand that the cost of insured extended service contracts can be a bit of a stretch for some vehicle owners. As a result, we have developed Easy Pay Advantage plans for our customers so the entire amount no longer needs to be paid in one lump sum. Now our customers can secure contracts with up payment plans of up to 24 months. Additionally, our plans come with a money back guarantee for 30 days after the purchase date of the contract. Simply put, we will refund your money if you haven’t made a claim and request a refund in writing within the first 30 days.

AA AUTO PROTECTION – STATEMENTS FROM THE MANAGING MEMBERS

" This summer (2015) we have formed a new management team for AA Auto Protection which puts the emphasis on customer protection, service and satisfaction. First and foremost, our mission is to protect our customers by ensuring all the products we make available are backed up by AM Best insurance companies. This provides an added level of protection in the event an administrator goes out of business.

In today's highly competitive market, some online providers are selling products that are uninsured at a very low cost - confusing the customers into thinking they have found a great bargain. History has shown a pattern of these unscrupulous companies closing after just a few years, leaving no one to pay the claims. Insured products on the other hand, like those offered through AA Auto Protection, have the added safeguard of being backed by insurance companies which would pay the claims in the event the policy administrator goes out of business. The cost of insured policies tend to be more expensive - but are much safer for the consumer.

AA Auto Protection's entire team is excited about the changes and eager to begin a new chapter of helping more customer's enjoy added protection and peace-of-mind. AA Auto Protection takes employee satisfaction seriously as well. Employee feedback and surveys reveal comments such as this, ""AA Auto Protection provides a very positive environment to work. Opportunities for suggestions and improvements are encouraged. The management is truly concerned about our contribution to the company and providing growth opportunities for us."" Ripoff Report was pleased to learn that AA Auto Protection's past and current approach to business is focused on its pledge to total commitment towards client and employee satisfaction.

STATED IMPROVEMENTS FROM AA AUTO PROTECTION

AA Auto Protection recognizes that complaints posted on Ripoff Report (whether true or not) are issues that need to be addressed, not ignored. If handled correctly, complaints can be valuable learning opportunities. With the feedback generated by Ripoff Report's review, AA Auto Protection has made organizational changes allowing its clients and employees a more streamlined approach to problem resolution and a commitment to a great client experience.

In summary, after our review, which included discussions with the Managing Members, Ripoff Report is convinced that AA Auto Protection is committed to quality delivery of services resulting in total client satisfaction.

STATEMENT FROM AA AUTO PROTECTION:

This customer purchased a CDWS contract through AA Auto Protection. At the time of enrollment he was told that the policy would not cover any pre-existing conditions. 30 days after he purchased the plan he suddenly had major engine issues. After review CDWS denied the claim due to it being a pre-existing condition. The customer purchased the policy because he was starting to have engine issues. Any company that is offering Vehicle Service Contracts directly to the public run into this issue regularly. People don’t want to buy a Vehicle Service Contract for their vehicle until they know something is wrong. Unfortunately, it is too late at this point. You cannot buy homeowners insurance the day after you have a house fire. You cannot buy life insurance the day after you are diagnosed with cancer. This is no different. A Vehicle Service Contract will not refurbish your broken vehicle. You must buy a Vehicle service contract while your vehicle is in good running condition. It will then cover you for unexpected breakdowns in the future.

----------------------------------

aaautowarranty.com autowarrantyresearch.com aaautoprotection.com aa auto warranty aa auto protection and possibly other names are one and the same.

This company wrongfully deceived me by lines like "Just like a new car warranty, only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", and other lines. The truth is, the "product warranty" they sold me was so restricted. and would never pay for anything when breakdown occurs. The reality hit me pretty badly when my engine failed.

I purchased an agreement from them with good faith on 9/16/2009. I was in the market for an extended warranty for my truck as my warranty at the time was expiring on 11/11/2009. I first looked around in the web and quickly discovered that, there are many fraudulent companies like US Fidelis out there. I knew not to contact US Fidelis but I didn't even dream that AAAutowarranty.com was selling me an identical "product warranty" by same provider also sold by US Fidelis. I shopped around, and asked many questions. I first received a quote in an email by AAAutowarranty.com. It wasn't too expensive or the lowest, I decided to give them a call. They offered me 2 plans to choose from. They were both from same provider. I asked about a coverage on turbo charger, as I had a turbo charger failed on me previously. I was told that one of them listed turbo charger in covered components, but the other one didn't list turbo charger. but in event, if turbo charger was damaged due to failed covered component, it will be covered. I asked about hub bearing, and the sales guy couldn't answer. I was connected to his supervisor, The supervisor said front wheel hub bearing would be covered as all internally lubricated components of axles are covered. The sales guy continued to tell me about how great this warranty is. "Just like a new car warranty, Only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", "15 days and 500 mile activation period", "No limit on each claim, up to actual cash value of the vehicle", "Just keep up with the oil change, at any service facility", "5 year 150,000 mile coverage", "If something happens to your car, just take it in to any ASE certified facility. 'we' will take care of the rest" and others. I called around and found other warranty companies that were offering the same coverage from the same provider. I didn't care for them as they were high pressure sales. A lady from one warranty company asked me what I was considering. I told her about this great coverage offered by AA Auto Warranty, 5 year 150,000 mile coverage, activation period 15 days and 500 miles and so on. She said she didn't have anything with 15 days and 500 mile activation period, and it must be some kind of a product warranty that requires additives added to engine, transmission, gear cases and others or it's a scam. I called back AA Auto Warranty and asked if it was a "product warranty" with some kind of additives. He said "No, it's a regular warranty". I felt like I did enough research, and I gave the guy my credit card number. I worked as a business development manager and other positions in sales field. I always presented our products with truth, never withholding negative info on anything. I had no reasons to suspect AA Auto Warranty. I received a small package from the provider in what seems like couple of weeks later. I never really looked at it. I even felt comfortable enough, and canceled my real warranty in early October after I reached 500 mile and 15 day activation period.

In mid October my truck started to smoke badly and lost power on freeway. I was so glad that I renewed my warranty policy with AAAutowarranty. I looked for a service facility that would work with an aftermarket warranty company, and took my truck in. They said it seemed like cracked piston or broken piston ring. They said warranty company should cover such damage, they got an approval for teardown from the provider and took the engine a part. They found a wrist pin circlip came off of a piston and damaged the piston and the cylinder wall badly. This was an instantaneous damage. I got a call from the repair facility a day before Thanksgiving day telling me that provider denied the claim. I was shocked. I failed to understand the reason for denying my claim. The guy from the repair facility emailed me a pdf attachment he received from the provider. It had many misspellings and most of the sentences weren't even complete. I couldn't believe the level of the response I received from this company. I found out soon later that I wasn't the only one experienced the same situation. A fact is, all of the policies or agreements from this provider is so strict. They will always find 10 reasons why they won't pay for the claim, pre-existing, worn components, parts not actually broken to pieces, one of the oil change record was hand written, not covered part or condition, and many other ridiculous reasons why they won't pay for the claim. This provider is a scam, so is AAAutowarranty that sold the coverage to me knowingly and willingly. And they count on you NOT to read or understand the policy, otherwise they wouldn't be selling such ridiculous insurance policy.

I filed a complaint with BBB. The first response from AAAutowarranty was that they don't process or approve any claims. But the real problem is the fraudulent misrepresentation of the selling broker, in this case AAAutowarranty. Maybe it's my fault that I trusted them so much. but I'm not the only one. I didn't even find out until very recently that there were tablets and battery terminal protectors in the box I received from the provider. also, there was a "information" on the warranty with all the exclusions and conditions in the box. I was never asked to read or understand any of this by anyone. I never acknowledged any of this. Troy Nelson from AA Auto Warranty tried to tell me that I acknowledged all the fine prints when I give them the 3 digit security code from back of my credit card. I told him that has nothing to do with the fine prints I didn't even know existed. Marc Kamin from AAAutowarranty agreed with me that all of the calls are monitored and AAAutowarranty knew every details listed in conditions of all the agreements. Marc Kamin told me that this provider only started to behave in such manner within last couple of month as economy took a deeper dive. I disagree. There is no evidence of them changing their coverage information and there are many people complaining about this provider for years. The truth is, nobody sane would purchase such agreement or policy if they knew all the restrictions and conditions of these warranty policies.

AA Auto Warranty also violated insurance regulation and state laws by selling disguised insurance policy. All victims should contact FTC, Attorney General, Department of Insurance and other governmental agencies of each states. AAAutowarranty has locations in NJ, PA, MD and DE. I believe Baltimore office is the most active sales location as they are currently looking for more sales/telemarketing position for that office. All of the victims should contact AG, DOI and others in each of those states.

All the victims should also file a claim with BBB, I don't know how they ended up with an A+ as they only had a rating of B- when I looked them up back in September. They do have 50 complaints on the record. I know of a business that had no complaints ever and has a C rating. BBB isn't a reliable source after all.

They recently changed their company name to AA Auto Protection to avoid some investigations.

Please contact me if you have a class action lawsuit against AA Auto Warranty or AA Auto Protection. I like to join or possibly start one if I can't find one already started.

Confirmation

AUTHOR: vadsky - (United States of America)

That wasthe definitive confirmation from AA Auto. I wasn't even sure if Marc Kamin was his real name, as I heard he likes to change his name depending on the day.A reputable business would never hire a registered sex offender. We have such registry for a good reason. Sex offender registry has prevented many crimes, from reoccurring. I only mentioned a name of registered offender, in the area where one of AA office is located. I strongly suggest you look up the definition of "slander" and "harassment". I would avoid doing a business with a company that hires registered sex offenders. This would be the type of information I would seek when, I'm considering a company or the products they offer.

File a lawsuit against AA Auto.

AUTHOR: vadsky - (United States of America)

Go ahead and file a lawsuit against AA Auto. I'm sure they'll tell you that they are not the administrator of the service contract. But they are the one that sold you the fake warranty. If it wasn't for AA Auto you wouldn't have purchased such a useless garbage. Filing a lawsuit is a very simple process. You can represent yourself, you don't need a lawyer to represent you. I'm not buying the recent activity on this post, it's probably a stunt pulled by AA Auto. Just to make it look like they would settle dispute. Call Marc Kamin and find out. He'll probably be much nicer than the last time you spoke to him.

My Dispute Resolved

AUTHOR: Fight Back - (United States of America)

I am happy to report that my dispute with AA Auto Protection has been resolved. Since my earlier posting, I reached out to them with proposition to end our squabble and settle, to which Marc Kamin promptly responded. We finally had a civilized conversation by not dwelling on the past but rather amicably discussing possible resolutions. We have agreed to a settlement that meets my needs.

Although our whole incident was regrettable and probably preventable, the credit must be given when its due. I must say that at the end AA Auto Protection acted promptly and professionally, and that allowed us to resolve the situation satisfactorily to both parties.

Thank you, RipOffReport.com, for providing this invaluable forum for consumers and businesses alike. Hopefully the original poster of this report will be able to resolve his dispute positively as well. Best of luck.

Good question

AUTHOR: Fight Back - (United States of America)

A devious attempt to cover tracks and confuse everyone, perhaps thats why. Kamin (or whatever his real name is) from AAAutoProtection learned I was about to post my complaint against them on ROR and may have decided to beat me on that. He (or someone under his directive) created a new account with username A.D. (which happen to be my initials) and by impersonating me posted 2 identical comments here, to make it look as if they came from me. On the face, these fake ramblings look like a real complaint from an aggrieved consumer describing an incident (which happened to be mine). But the faker twisted facts from inside out and added lies with embellishments, so that you read and you may think the person complaining is irrational, misguided or even nuts. Works for AAAutoProtection!

Sleazy but ingenious, dont you think?  I did post my own (real) report against AAAutoProtection from my real account. (Report #659797).

Would any of you pull this kind of crap and impersonate somebody if you were a professional manager of some reputable company? Would you do it for $115 ?! (That was the amount AAAutoProtection arbitrarily took from me and refused to return).

AAAutoProtection in Sunshine: Classy

AUTHOR: Fight Back - (United States of America)

Posts #11 and 12 on this report were made by either Marc Kamin (if this is his even real name), who supposedly is an employee (manager of client relations) of AAAutoProtection, or perhaps one of his cronies, who used fake account pretending to be someone else.

Thanks for entertainment, Kamin. Classy !!!

Cancellation fee $100 you should know

AUTHOR: A.D. - (USA)

I bought a warranty from this company this summer to have my rusted exhaust system fixed. I waited for the required 1000 miles to pass after I got the contract then tried to get it repaired, and the claim was denied! They told me it was because rust is not covered by any warranty, and because pre-existing conditions are never covered. What's the point of getting a warranty if you can't use it to fix your car or truck? I waited until the 1000 miles past, in fact I waited an extra 200 miles before taking my truck in. They said that it takes more than 200 miles for rust to form. How would they know that, are they chemists or something? So I called them to cancel and I wanted all my money back. But when I got the refund they took $100, saying it was a "cancellation fee." When I questioned them about their right to do that they said that brokers have a right to charge fees and that the fee was on their website and in the cancellation instructions. Well since they didn't pay for my truck I think I should have gotten all my money back. When I called them I told them I didn't want my calls recorded, which is a little trick I learned so that I can say whatever I want without worrying about it. I talked to the customer service guys there, and maybe English isn't their first language or maybe they aren't real Americans or whatever but they didn't understand that I was right and they were wrong. $100 might not seem like a lot but when you drive a 1999 truck with a lot of rust it's a lot of money. I don't know what side of the train tracks these people are from but I'm a proud American and I told them I would be taking things to the next level so here I am.

Cancellation Fees $100 you should know

AUTHOR: A.D. - (USA)

I bought a warranty from this company this summer to have my rusted exhaust manifold fixed. AA Auto scam

AUTHOR: vadsky - (United States of America)

AA Auto warranty aka AA Auto protection is a scam. Just look at how many complaints are on ripoffreport. I can't believe these people are still in business. All victims should take legal action against this company. Looks like they packed up and left the Baltimore, MD. office with no forwarding address. They are still active out of their ever active Feasterville, PA location. 3 Neshaminy Interplex Dr. Trevose, PA 19053-6939 and their executive office: 901A Mantua Pike. Woodbury, NJ. 08096-3920

They also wiped their BBB record clean. No record of number of complaints. No current rating. But bragging about BBB A+ rating on their website aaautowarranty.com. I didn't know they got A+ rating from BBB ever. With so many complaints filed against them, How they can get anything but an F rating from BBB is beyond me. I don't expect any truth out of them anyway. AA Auto is a big scam.

Honestabe, Thank you for your continuous support.

I've seen your posts on other complaints. You really have a good understanding on the subject.

I haven't been spending much time online lately. I like to spend more time on here.

US Fidelis announced that they no longer sell Product warranties as of 12/29/09.

US Fidelis is also a member of the Vehicle Protection Association (VPA). Which AA Auto Protection speak so highly of.

Do you know of a yahoo user name honestabettii? This user has a good understanding of the subject also. I recommend you get in touch with this user soon.

To Mr. TTii and vad

AUTHOR: Honestabe - (U.S.A.)

Mr. TTii, No problem on the support. There are many people out there who will agree with you. If there is some way for you to post your info, I would like to get in contact with you. I too would love to see what kind of certified mail they are sending you. Also one of the largest companies in this industry just went down the tubes and the majority of what they sold was this exact same product warranty company. There is a reason they don't sell this product warranty anymore. Bu they do still offer a different product warranty.

Vad. You say I know who you are. How do you know that? I never stated anywhere that I knew you. The whole post to Mr TTii was about how AA Auto deceived him by not telling him that they sold him a product warranty. Not the fact that his claim was denied. Only one sentence mentions "Ryan" Kamin's name. I think your post is ridiculous. You say and I quote "The employees are doing what they are ALLOWED to do just like I did, and you did." Does that mean they are allowed to use phrases like "Just like a new car warranty, only better" "The best coverage in the industry" "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered" and the best line "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back". Who says they are ALLOWED to say those things? Is that what you told people when you worked there? Also, how do you know if I ever worked there, especially if you don't know who I am? Or maybe your are Honestabe and you are just responding back to yourself...

Thank You for your support Honestabe and VAD,

AUTHOR: ttii - (USA)

Honestabe: Thank you for supporting my claim, and additional information on AA Auto.I can't believe this company told me all the lies about the policy, then they can post something like what was posted by Ryan kamin above on 12/29/2009. AA Auto even lied to me about the policy being a product warranty, as I stated in earlier post. They couldn't possibly expect me to review the "information on the policy" I didn't even know I had in the box.

VAD: So, are you willing to do anything for a paycheck because the economy is so bad? There are many people in jail for various misconducts, for an individual, for a company or otherwise. I don't know if Marc Kamin and Ryan kamin is the same person. Marc's email address does start with an r, that usually means his first name initial. So it's possible. Perhaps it's the same person who passed the bar exam in last few months. I'd never know. Please have a look at the posts(duplicates) by Ryan kamin. Sounds like he tried, but didn't sound like a good defense for the company at all. Omission, meaning It's my fault that AA Auto Protection lied to me about the product warranty they were selling me. and it's also my fault that I didn't find out how insane and ridiculous this product warranty was, which I didn't even know I purchased. They also tried to get me to agree that: AA Auto Protection didn't do anything wrong, all the dissatisfactions were caused by the administrator of the product warranty. and I would be a 100% satisfied customer if I received the refund. You can reasonably assume that I wouldn't be. I'm probably going to lose this vehicle, because of fraudulent misrepresentation of AA Auto Protection. This Marc Kamin person is also threatening to take a legal action against me for posting the truth on Ripoff Report and other websites, he mentioned he will be mailing me a certified mail. A St. Louis based media is very interested in what Marc Kamin is going to send me. I don't know if this person is your friend Ryan, but do you still want a friend like him? You, Ryan or Marc would never sell these "product warranty" to your mother, grandmother or someone you really care about. They shouldn't be selling them to anybody else either.

I'll try to gather links of other people complaining about AA Auto Protection when I get a chance.

If you are also a victim of AA Auto Warranty / AA Auto Protection, you should post your case here. So we can find you.

Thank you all for reading this.

AUTHOR: VAD - (U.S.A.)

I really want to know who you are.  You know who I am and you need to realize that these guys probably think that I'm "Honestabe" because of these posts, which I am not.  I don't disagree with what you said but I think you took it a little too far.  If you worked there in the Feasterville office you know that Ryan is one of the most honest people in the whole industry and you def should have left his Name out of it.  Out of all the people at AA Auto Warranty/protection/body Ryan is not the one who is responsible for you being so mad.  His job is to reply to these complaints.  What is he supposed to do, say that the customer is right?   In this economy when getting a job is close to impossible why would you expect somebody do their their job badly?  It's not the employees fault at all.  The employees are doing what they are ALLOWED to do just like I did, and you did.  I just wanted you to know that I fully support what you are trying to do but I think that this time you went about it in the wrong way.

TTii a little more info for you.

AUTHOR: Honestabe - (U.S.A.)

You made mention about how only recently their BBB record was a B- and now all of a sudden it is an A+ and their complaints TRIPLED in those few months. The reason for that is that they paid off the BBB. The BBB is in business to make a profit just like any other business out there. The BBB is NOT a non-profit organization. They do NOT provide a service to the consumer public. Pay them enough money and the will do anything. Another warranty provider that I shall leave nameless used to pay the BBB very large sums of money. The BBB allowed them to answer a complaint within thirty days and they would remove it from their record. For over a decade this company had two or three complaints. They stopped paying the BBB and in just 2-3 months time, they now have over 80 complaints. This is exactly how AA Auto Warranty/Protection/Shopper/Guardian Web Services has achieved their A+ rating. Just another way this company deceives the buying public in addition to all the ways you have so truthfully listed. The sales people at AA Auto are trained to lie and say whatever is needed to get the deal. This new "organization" they belong to that explains the so called reason they switched their name from Warranty to Protection is all made up too. AA Auto created it!!! The TV news programs they have run on their website? They created them too. It is all a big joke. I have so much more I could say but I will bite my toungue. They have enough bad press as it is.

Right now many state AG's are attacking the product warranty business and this includes the one you purchased. In fact the majority of the time when you call them now, they dont even answer the phone. And if you do get someone, they hang up on you very quickly. It is not too hard to put 2 and 2 together on why this is happening. Also is the reason you don't see AA Auto selling this product warranty anymore. Now they offer another product warranty from another company. Product warranties in general are a total rip off.

To anyone who reads this, Mr TTii the one who wrote the original complaint, everything he said is true. The rebuttal from Mark or Ryan Kamin or Marc Karmon or whatever name he chooses to use that day is a lie. Typical of what this compnay does....

Important Omission

This client's account omits that, although AA Auto Protection rejects his account of events, an account not supported by the actual phone call recordings, he was offered a full refund by AA Auto Protection but refused it.  AA Auto Protection takes seriously if our clients become disatisfied, for whatever reason, with plans that we offer. All customers have 30 days to review the contract to ensure that they are satisfied with the terms. After that, we attempt to be of assistance any way that we can. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. We are proud of our A+ rating from BBB, and have earned it by working hard for our clients. We are grateful to our clients, and appreciate that we owe our success to them.
