AAMCO ripoff dishonest shoddy work deceitful & disreputable rip-off scam San Antonio Texas

On July 2, 2002 I had the transmission on my 1995 Ford Winstar rebuilt by Carl's AAMCO of 5960 NW Loop 410 San Antonio, TX 78232 at a cost of $1875.11. My Warranty was for 12 Months/12,000 Miles. On June 19, 2004 my transmission failed and my car was towed to Carl's AAMCO with slightly more than 9000 miles on the repaired transmission. Although my transmission exceeded the warranty by date, I believe that given the low mileage, AAMCO should take care of its customers and repair my transmission free of charge. I discussed this with the management which proved to be fruitless. Instead I was offered a negligible discount on services. In legal terms they may be right, but in terms of decency they're clearly wrong. I firmly believe that Carl's AAMCO should do the right thing and take responsibility for a faulty initial repair on my transmission.

If Carl's AAMCO again refuses to repair my transmission free of charge I will be left with no alternative but to take the following actions:

1. I will peacefully picket your repair shop every day with a sign and flyers stating that Carl's AAMCO DOES SHODDY WORK.

2. I will have Carl's AAMCO placed on Businesses Banned for Military Personnel at Lackland AFB.

3. I will set up several Google accessed web sights informing people of my difficulties with AAMCO and not to have their car serviced by AAMCO.

4. I will have Carl's AAMCO placed on several bad business web sights.

5. I will take out several local ads, accurately outlining my negative experience with Carl's AAMCO

6. I will file a report with the Better Business Bureau
