AARON'S of Kissimmee Fl. has screwed me out of an early pay off.I signed a contract with them on November 17,2007 for a 32" LCD flat panel HD tv as well as a tabel,they delivered on Nov.20th.
The first problem with that was that the two delivery people had no idea how to hook up the tv,they called their manager Omar and they still couldn't figure it out,they told me that omar would come personally that day at a certain time to hook it up,he never showed.I called and whoever answered said he was gone for the day.Since I had company coming I had to call my husband at work and have him walk me through the process.
Time went on I made all my payments on time even early most times and one month things got very chaotic for me and I lost track of the date and payed a couple of days late and the girl who took my payment basicly scolded me like a child for being late,I was very pissed.
Now I am down to my last couple of payments,I went today to pay off my tv my regular payments are 70.60 which is due on 9/15/09 and would pay me up untill 10/15/09 early payout would be 73.08 so that is what I intended to pay.The girl says no you owe 2 and 1/2 payments I showed her the print out that came with my contract that said 73.08 she said no you dont look at that I said that is what early payout is and she went back to Omar who tap tap taped on his computer and printed out a new sheet.
According to my old sheet Sep. I owed 70.60 po was 73.08 Oct.I owed 70.60 po would be 8.89 Nov I owed 9.78 and it would be payed off.Now the new sheet says Sep. I owe 70.60 po would be 107.72 Oct.I owe 70.60 po would be 37.12 Nov. I would pay it off with 37.12. No matter how I look at it I am getting screwed

Early payouts hurt the stores.hey will make up all kind of dollar ammounts to confuse you and mae you go past your 90 day payoff ammount. You hust what is called "thier gap" plus the stores are ranked and judged by customer counts. You paying off early hurts the store in rankings.
Aarons is a joke and a scam.
Dont use them!

today Sep.18th Phill called me from the regional office,he explained to me that I was right and that there was a glitch that happened to me and another person in the same store.He apolagized for it and said that the manager omar should have taken a better look at my account and promised that it would not happen again.He said he would take care of the account and it would be paid off,he gave me the regional number should anythig arise in the futer.I appreciate what Phill has done so thank you Phill.

Late fees and interest

You admit that you were late at least once. Every time you are late that will infer a late fee and additional interest on any sort of payment like this. Your original paperwork reflected everything being paid on time and in full. As you admit you did not make every payment on time and in full. Since yuo did not there will be additional fees. You state they are ripping you off about 30$, which sounds about right for a late fee and/or interest.
