This was sent to me after I had applied for a pay day loan. It mentions that I have entered an online lottery. The letter said that I had won and was being sent this check for three thousand nine hundred and fifty dollars. The thing about the check was that I was to cash it and send back most of the money to pay for the taxes on the original money that I supposedly won. It is a scam and could lead to felony charges if the check is cashed. These people seem to be getting my info from applications that I have on line. The thing is had the check been cashed they would not have even gotten so much as a phone call from the law. The only person that would have ended up a double victim would have been me.
