Adame Drywall & Construction New Trends Construction LLC (address: XXXX Fox St, Denver, CO XXXXX, United States) Scammed out of money and a project Englewood Colorado

We were scammed out of the equity we took out on our home due to a bad remodel.  The contractor hired told us he pulled the proper permits only to later find out that he stole a licensed contractors active licensure out of his vehicle and submitted an initial permit (which only covered the studs, not electrical, plumbing, etc.).  When we informed the Adame contractor about it, he went scarce and disappeared only to find out later he was in jail due to theft charges and skipping bond.
 
When the construction company called me they assured me that they wanted to fix the mistakes made and would do anything.  I had a city inspector out to our home to tell us all that needed to be fixed. The owner of Adame Construction (who happens to be the sister of our initial contractor who botched the job) skipped out on the meeting we had set as she had "cold feet" and we were told that their company could not pull any permits because none of their employees had an active social security number and they were only licensed in Mexico.  You cannot work in the City of Denver without an active license. 
 
The sister/ owner claims she was not in on it however, she sent me several invoices with her name on it to pay for materials they purchased.  This family are a bunch of scam-artists!  Do not hire them!
 
This company created a huge mess and basically we wasted the equity we took out on this terrible person.... not only are they unwilling to fix it, but they don't even have the capability to fix it. I am 7.5 months pregnant and when this project started I was 4 months pregnant. We were promised this would take a month.... now we do not have a home safe enough to bring a newborn in to and we most likely will have to rip out everything that was done as it was unpermitted and not approved.
 
I am devastated!
