I found an unauthorized charge for $7.99 by Adv-Online.net on my checking account (VISA check transaction)on June 13, 2002. I called them four times at 916-812-0187 (cell phone?). It is voice mail and no one returns calls. I also emailed them at gennyk@msn.com and received no reply. Business must be bad, they are now down to $5.95!
I have no idea how they got my ATM/VISA number and password. I am very careful when I enter my info at stores and look for card-catching devices at ATMs. I searched for info on them, but could find no clue as to who they are or where they are located, other than the 916 area code (Sacramento area of CA).

Go to your bank, and report the fraudulent charge. They will give you a dispute form to fill out. Give them every detail you know about this business. Be fast, you have only 30/60 days to do this. (Based on your bank policy.) You should consider to close your account an open a new one, before you are hit again from other companies/people.
