This company is running a HUGE scam. The advertisement offered two different tooth whitening products that together promised great results. I placed my order for my "free trial offer" with the first product offered by Advanced Wellness Research. I entered my debit info. (my mistake) for the $6.99 shipping fee. When I went to order the second product, the terms and conditions appeared and said that I was agreeing to costly monthly shipments. I exited and went back to my first order. After searching, I found that the same terms and conditions applied (costly monthly shipments), but these were not clearly listed at the time of ordering like the second company.

I immediately called Advanced Wellness Research and tried to cancel the order I had just placed. I had to call 3 times - 1st time I was on hold 10 minutes then connected w/ another customer on hold; 2nd time I was disconnected; and the 3rd time I was on hold 7 minutes before speaking with Agnes ID# 14706. Per Agnes, I could not cancel today. I must wait 3 to 4 days after receiving product, then cancel and I would not have to return product, nor would I owe anything further.

The product arrived almost 2 weeks later. I called 3/31/09 and cancelled and was issued a cancellation confirmation. The male rep. told me that everything had been taken care of and that I would not be charged anything further.

On 4/7/09, I noticed that my bank account had been charged $78.93. Called company again and spoke with Crystal. Crystal issued a credit which should hit my account in 3-5 business days. Asked to speak with a supervisor. Molly said that my account had been charged the same day that I had called to cancel (apparently the 15 day "free" trial starts the minute you call; irregardless of when you actually receive the product.) I asked why the rep. had not mentioned that my account had been charged and she did not know. I asked for a refund of the $6.99 shipping fee for all my time and trouble, but Molly said she could not do that.

This company is counting on people to not cancel in a timely manner and to not notice the monthly charges. I have now made 5 calls to this company and am still awaiting my refund. VERY poor customer service. Don't ever order from this company!!!
