I'm confused - or am I?

I too bought "259 All-Natural Secrets To Disease-Proof Your Heart".   Expensive and contains nothing I could not have researched on-line apart from perhaps a plethora of meaningless medical studies.   However, before I found the time to read said book I bought a further book "How to Fight Prostate Cancer & Win" which again was expensive for it's size.   A quick glance at it's contents tells me I have bought an expensive collection of recipes, relevant medical terms and procedures and numerous excerpts from a global telephone directory/name dropping.

Alongside my ordered book(PC) I received a leaflet telling the reader it's not CANCER that kills most cancer patients;  it's something called "CACHEXIA".    I add that another expensive book was being touted - "Tomorrow's Cancer Cures Today" and phrases like "You Can't Afford To Ignore It;  The Rocket Fuel Secret Giving Terminal Patients A Second Chance At Life and The Only Cancer Survival Guide You'll Ever need".   The advertising packs a punch.............

My "Concise Oxford Dictionary" defines "CACHEXIA" as "weakness and wasting of the body due to severe chronic illness"

Well, I am not a clinician  and this is just my layman's opinion, but surely what kills most Cancer patients is the underlying disease called "CANCER".

Call it what you will but I see them as two names for the same animal;  someone is trying to reinvent the wheel!!!....and get rich at the same time!
