Contacted this attorney for assistance with a legal problem in Michigan. Was requested to make a deposit to the retainer in the amount of $1500.00, which I did on a credit card.
The retainer agreement was emailed to me along with a receipt for the payment. My signature was requested.
On reading the retainer agreement I was not satisfied with the terms so I contacted the law firm and stated that I would not agree with the retainer terms. After some discussion the attorney offered other terms which I agreed to look at.
Once the amended retainer agreement was emailed to me I still could not agree to the terms. When the law office contacted me I informed them that I would NOT be using thier services and would like a refund of my deposit.
This has now gone on for over a month with NO contact from the attorneys office and with NO refund of my deposit. I finally had to dispute the charge as services not received.
This firm will take your money and keep it without performing the services requested. DO NOT do business with these people and most definately do NOT send them money in advance. Once you see the actual retainer agreement if you decide not to do business with them they will attempt to keep your money.
BEWARE!! Scam and thieves.
