Alamo All Cleaning Service, Absolute RIPOFF - BE VERY VERY careful - very misleading ad and rude service San Antonio Texas

I was hosting a birthday party at my home and we decided to get a maid service to come in. The person I have used before was not available, so we called a few and came accross an ad for "Alamo All Cleaning Service". The ad states that a variety of services are "included" but BEWARE!!!! They arrived 1 hr and 45 mins late (they did call, but what an inconvenience since I had to have someone waiting there) and let me share how they work...so you dont get screwed like I did.

They arrive with 5 people and give you an "estimate". On the phone making the appointment we were told $200..but what they REALLY mean is they have a $200 MINIMUM. So, they show up and look around. AT this point they give you a WAYYYYYYYY over inflated estimate. I have a 3 br. 2 bath home which is 2100 sq. feet and was told it would be $1005!!! This was completely outrageous!! They then settled to do the floors downstairs and pick up for $200 after talking them down. Then they stated they would all 5 work for 1 hr and 15 mins (which they only stayed 45 mins) and my tile floors were all sticky still, no dishes touched, etc. Their ad states "Satisfaction Completely Guaranteed", but be warned....this statement ONLY APPLIES if you go with their whole house estimate!!! They do not guarantee anything else.

I called to speak with owner on Monday after stewing and feeling screwed all weekend and was basically told I should have paid the $1005. I was then told Cheryl would return my call. I waited somewhat patiently until; Friday, when I called the same man answered and then told me I could talk to Gina who was one of the ones at my home. She informed me my house was a mess (well, duh...why do you normally call a maid?) and said she stayed LONGER than she should have, which is inaccurate and NOT ONCE asked how they could make it right.

This company is simply out to take advantage of anyone in a situation where they need to have cleaning done and they show up "ready to work". I was NEVER offered an apology of ANY kind, nothing. They do not care AT ALL. They were very rude and condescending and made me feel like they had my money and could care less. I will make sure I shout from the rooftops to NEVER use this company....tell everyone you know and dont make the same stupid mistake I did....maybe someone should also tell them about TRUTH In Advertising!!!!
