Reserved rental car at Lisbon, Portugal airport.  Cost for 18 days:  about $300.  Pre-purchased collision, etc insurance policy from Allianz at time of rental - as suggested on line.

Arrived.  Would not accept policy - stated that we had to purchase theirs for $1200 !!!!! ($70 per day???),  or put a $3,000 hold on our credit card. Went to another agency in airport and luckily found a car.  RIP OFF.

However - please be advised - the location is the Alamo/Enterprise office in the Lisbon, Portugal airport.  We have no contract, because we refused to be extorted, and therefore refused to rent the car and went to another car rental that accepted our insurance policy (as they all - except you - do).  Gold Car Rental - also in the airport.
