Got a call from Cory Hunt about an internet loan inquiry. Was told by him that I was approved for a $5000.00 secured loan with 4 payments as collateral totaling $895.00. Was instructed to go to a local Wal-mart and send a MoneyGram for that amount to the address indicated. Was called the next day by a "customer service rep" that I was not approved due to my credit history and to send an additional amount to cover the risk. Even asked to give him the title to my car.

Made several calls to the rep and was told that he could not return my money until the end of their billing cycle which was the end of the month. Told him I either need the money or a refund asap because that was all the money I had. I caregive for a family member and now have no money for his medicine..I even pleaded with this guy and all he could say was no. The paperwork looks lagit and even checked with the BBB on this company with no complaints...Why do they do this and has anyone else had this problem..

You can file online and get the report to them as soon as possible. You can download the information at www.ago.mo.gov. They want to stop these people too. Just make copies of you information and send them with it for proof. You might want to go to your local police department and get a report indicating your loss.

Contact the MO state Attorney's office, his name is Jay Nixon 1-573-751-3321. Also file a report with IC3.gov, this is the FBI website and it is an internet scam. The more people that contact him, the more we can do. Please contact him immdeiately.
