Alliance Tractor-Trailer Training Centers Alliance Trucking WILL NOT RETURN MY DEPOSIT & KEEP GIVING ME THE RUNAROUND Arden, North Carolina

My daughter signed up for training at this school but, due to unforeseen circumstances, had to withdraw.  She sent them a $500.00 deposit.  When she requested a return of her deposit within the time prescribed by the company, she was told it would take 21 days from the time the request was submitted.  She and I have both contacted the company and been told a series of lies as to when she would get her money.  The first was it was approved and she should have received her money back on February 21, then March 9, then March 19, and then when she called them yesterday after still not receiving the money Ms. Goforth cursed at her and hung up the phone.  I have sent e-mails to Ms. Goforth and the company's owner/registered agent to no avail.  They simply will not refund the money.  If anyone else has had to deal with this company and can tell me the next step I would appreciate it.  If, as their website says, they have been doing business for over thirty (30) years, it would seem that they would know how to be professional.  I do intend to report them to the North Carolina Better Business Bureau as well as contact the Secretary of State and their insurer.  If we have to file suit, I will sue for other damages as well.  I have never heard of such unprofessionalism within a school.  Can someone help me?
