Amber Jalink of Create Cool Apps advertised a "cheat sheet" for anxiety sufferers.  I understood that the cheat sheet would be various links and videos.  Customers who bought the "cheat sheet" were told that we could change it, sell it, or put it on our website.  Sounded okay and standard for an informational marketing product.

That is until I received it. The product was a layout of various websites. I thought that they would be ghost written, or written by the company, which is the norm. These sites were a collection of websites on the topic of anxiety. I was incredulous.  Having been in business for a bit now, and invested a great deal of money into products at various price points I was just stunned.

Sure the company may have decided which sites would be "best" but essentially it was as if someone put their Google search of 'anxiety' on a page and charged you for that.

I am not sure whether or not the owners of the sites are aware that someone is charging people $10.00 to include their website page in a roundup.  I don't want to be accused of plagiarism by dozens of sites.

I contacted the owner for a refund.  They refused saying, that they put a lot of work into the research. She was correct on one point.

I knew the "cheat sheet" was going to be sites and videos.  However, I had no idea that the sites and videos belonged to actual website owners. Normally what you buy is ghost written and not copywritten.

I am extremely disappointed.

The cost was $10.00.  It wouldn't be worth it to invest time and energy into this any longer.  However, others should be aware.

I tried to collect the sites to give the links to my readers/customers for free. This is typically how I share web links.  In the midst of doing this, my computer crashed (temporarily) because of one of the sites.

Be aware.

Fraudulent Buyer, Offer was VERY Clear.

AUTHOR: Amber Jalink - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, June 22, 2017

It's quite simple.

The offer was VERY clear in stating that it was an "Anxiety Cheatsheet".

And I quote right from the sales page:

"This cheatsheet was NOT just "grabbed" by the typical cheatsheet generator approach. We personally reviewed every link, every video, and chose the best of the best. There are 23 resources and 5 videos included. (Obviously I've blurred out the content below but the actual file is fine)"

"You can add your own links to it if you wish (you should know some html to do that) - or simply pay someone on Fiverr $5 to edit/add your custom links to it."

I CAN NOT fathom how this person, who admits "I understood that the cheat sheet would be various links and videos"..... and then in the next paragraph be shocked that it contained "a layout of various websites".

SERIOUSLY??

There is absolutely zero plagiarism going on as she claimed - if so, she would have to claim that Google, Pinterest and Youtube are plagiarism sites!  Because what we took was DIRECTLY from the sites META TAGS!

Rather than a person searching for hours upon hours, we gathered the legitimate sites - HIGH QUALITY ones and put them into this file.

Believe me, if you just search at Google or other sites, there's a TON of garbage. Anyone with any knowledge and experience of searching online knows that search engine rankings have ways of being manipulated, and there are always tons of repeat links and similar / linking to each other.

Instead, we spent hours vetting every single site.

What we did is 100% entirely legal, and we are NOT the first person to do this. (TIP: Search here for proof of others that don't even remotely format as nicely OR have legitimate stuff, they're just link farms: https://warriorplus.com/wso/?q=cheatsheet&q_author=&showmax=50&q_go=Search in most cases).

This person contacted me for a refund yes.

I refused for 2 simple reasons:

1) It was right on the checkout page that there were ZERO refunds.

2) This included PLR! That means private label rights - meaning, even if I gave her a refund, I have no way of taking the digital product "back" in order to ensure she wouldn't try to sell it or use it for others.

PLR is usually NEVER refundable.

And for $10? Seriously? I've spent hundreds, even thousands on garbage in the past... but never EVER ask for a refund. And as a legitimate business person, would NEVER consider even asking when I've paid for PLR rights unless I didn't receive the product at all.

Several other people bought this product and we got rave reviews from ALL except this person.

This person though, has now been flagged and banned from ever buying again from me.

ADDED NOTE: CreateCoolApps has NOTHING to do with this offer, it wasn't even on the CCA website. That is simply our helpdesk she used to request a refund.

REFUND DENIED, Customer banned for abuse/fraud.

You can't attempt to ruin a person's reputation wrongfully, falsely claiming plagiarism etc. without repercussions.
