Ameri-Source Publications, American Solution Information published false data without consent harassed by collection agency rip-off Champlain New York

Very similar to another case posted, Ameri-Source called several times wanting us to advertise in their books. We asked them to fax information,since we do not do business over the phone. We did receive a fax which read "Below is the information which is going to be listed in our next edition..."

We assumed this fax to be a solicitation and since they hadn't done their home, the information about our company was incorrect including the phone number displayed. We did not respond to the fax. Shortly, thereafter we receive a free copy of their publication along with an invoice for our ad listing in the amount $317.95. We immediately called their accounting department and explained that we had not agreed to the ad. We followed our phone call up with a letter.

Then we starting receiving harrassing leters from American Solution Information concerning past due account with Ameri-Source. We responded immediately in writing that we disputed the debt. A year past with no response to our letters, now almost a year later, we have received numerous call from American Solutions Information, stating they are a collection agent for Ameri-Source Publications.

My phone calls to Ameri-Source Publications 800# dumps into a voice box and to date none of my messages have been returned. I have sent certified letters to both Ameri-Source Publications and to American Solution Information requesting that this invoice be cleared up. I am awaiting response at this time.
