This service is the perfect scam/rip-off. I wish I had found RipoffReport.com before sending money. Ill get straight to it.

To participate, you must send a $39 processing fee (In the form of a money order or certified check) to Baltimore Maryland. Within 10 days, they will email you a packet to Assist you in getting a job. They will indeed, walk you through the Entire process of getting you a position with the Airlines. This sounds all fine & dandy, but their Service Offer is filled with misleading information, loopholes and purposeful omissions! (Scam!)  Let me explain...

1.  First, this service does Not Promise That You Will Even Get A Job, Period.

2.  What that little $39 "Refundable" Processing Fee Really means is that if you are unsatisfied, you must first send American Careers 10 applications you put in to airlines which you were not hired for + 10 of their rejection letters before you can even think about a refund. But riddle me this (loophole), how are you going to send these back when you can't even apply for the bulk of these jobs, due to them being AirCraft Mechanic and Flight experience positions!?

3.  Their actual website and several career sites with American Careers on it boast several different Airlines you can apply for. You see yours and you're like great! However, this is highly misleading when you actually receive the packet and Zero jobs are available at your nearest airlines. When I say zero, I mean that if you are only qualified for certain positions, you will never have any hope of Ever securing a position. Yes, there are several positions available people, but the average american does not have such a specific skillset needed to succeed here. (Misleading)

Tell people all of this up front!

4. So in essence, you are Funding the Fraud people. Please don't fund the Fraud. I give it to you straight, plain and simple. Save your money & apply online with the actual airlines. They're the ones who are actually straight-forward. You know all that you'll need up front. No games.

AMERICAN CAREERS AND YVONNE FOXWORTH ARE SCAMMING EVERYONE!!!

AUTHOR: won't get fooled again - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 17, 2015

All Yvonne Foxworth does is spend her time creating fake consumer names and posting rebuttals to the deluge of reports from unsuspecting victims of the scam. Well how in the world would she have time to give all the 'help' she claims ad nauseam to give to airline employment hopefuls? She also keeps saying all the information is on their web site, so tough luck suckers! I am going to spread the news far and wide. I am also looking into litigation. This is the explanation of how they go about their scam. So Yvonne, this one's for YOU!

1) Firstly, the BAIT AD from this company states specific AIRPORTS LOCAL TO YOU (and their airline carriers) are hiring, stating the many positions they are hiring for. I have now much too late confirmed with the small airport in my town that they in fact are NOT HIRING. So this is LIE NUMBER ONE from American Careers. It is not illegal to place an ad stating an airport is hiring when they are not? Is THAT being up front, Yvonne Foxworth and American Careers?

2) Upon calling the phone number that you are instructed to call in order to apply, the automated system will tell you that these job positions listed are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. LIE NUMBER 2. Obviously designed to get you to hurry up and send your money. And how would American Careers know what jobs were first come first serve if they are not affiliated with the airport or airlines. They don't even know what airlines or airports are hiring! The auto message goes on to say that if you are hired for a position, you will be needed in 2 weeks. LIE NUMBER 3. How on earth would American Careers know what date you would be needed at any job with any airport or airline if they are not affiliated with these airports or airlines at all? Minder readers? OH GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ!!! Yes, the auto message gives you their website address, but it is a casual invitation for you to visit and find out more, not nearly as important is hurrying up to get to the bank to get a money order to send to them. The urgency tactics and blatant lies they use in their written ad and in the automated message, and if you actually do get a person to ever call you are REALLY what's at the crux of this, right? I admit I wish I had visited the website first (where they state they are not affiliated with the airlines nor can they guarantee a job; they only ended up adding the info to their site after it was required of them to put in writing by an order against them due to the publicity they received), but they are the ones who put forth COMPLETE FABRICATIONS in their BAIT AD and in their PHONE MESSAGE, and in speaking with MELODY MARKAKIS who by her GRAVE OMISSIONS ( lies) engenders a feeling of security in the prospective consumer.

3) The application. Let me rephrase what I said earlier. Yes, there is a generic application provided in the paperwork, but it is completely worthless as NO AIRLINE WILL ACCEPT THAT APPLICATION BECAUSE IT IS NOT THEIR APPLICATION, AND AMERICAN CAREERS IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE AIRLINES! LIE NUMBER 4. So why are they sending this worthless application that won't be accepted by any airline or airport? Gee, I dunno. It would make good toilet paper, though.

4) In speaking with Melody on the phone, I made it clear that I was ONLY interested in the airport local to me (about a mile down the road), which the BAIT AD said was hiring for numerous positions, several of which were in-house (BUT WHAT HOUSE IS THE QUESTION) positions. That would have been the time for Melody, or any one of you IF YOU HAD ONE SCINTILLA OF INTEGRITY, to say, "Oh, I see, well maybe you aren't a fit for this, because after we take your money, you have to be willing to apply to 10 different airlines, and if you don't find a job, you have to be willing to show us 10 rejection letters you got from those airlines, and then we will give you your money back. THERE ARE NOT 10 AIRLINES IN THE AIRPORT OF PITT/GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA!!!! THERE IS ONLY ONE, U.S. AIR!!!! IT'S A TINY AIRPORT!!!! But I would not find out the 10 airline application/10 airline rejection letter stipulation for a refund until after I received the guide. Also, I have since called the airport myself and confirmed that they indeed ARE NOT HIRING, but I am welcome to come in and get an application for U.S. Air to file for future job prospects.

5) Most people who have filed complaints have gotten NOTHING, ZIP, NADA for their $39 dollars. No phony paperwork, no emails, no phone calls, nothing. The only reason I got this worthless stack of papers is because I emailed them and called them on their fraud and requested a refund. Within 10 minutes of that, the guide appeared. And the rest is history. Not unlike my $39. There is nothing in this guide of any use to anyone that they could not pull up on the internet in 2 seconds. You can google a wealth of information on how to write a resume or a cover letter or mastering interviewing techniques for jobs. You don't need to pay American Careers for this.

6) These folks are criminal and crazy like a fox. And I won't stop until I have responded to every single one of her fake rebuttals and search the corners of the earth for justice against these depraved individuals.

American Careers is a helpful service

AUTHOR: Carmen - ()

POSTED: Monday, August 04, 2014

This service is the perfect for those who really need help in obtaining a career of their dreams. I am sure that allot of people out there wish they had done something.  Yet, they sit here and complain about how they were scammed or ripped of by a company that is actually designed to help them to obtain a career of their dreams.

I sent in my $39 processing fee (In the form of a money order or certified check) to Baltimore Maryland. Within 10 days, they will email you a packet to Assist you in getting a job. They will walk you through the Entire process of getting you a position with the Airlines.

1. American Careers never promised me in any way, shape or form that I would ever get a job.  They told me that they would help me with the entire process from beginning to end.  If I was unable to obtain employment with their help then my money was refundable.

2. There are many positions within the airlines that anyone can apply for.  No, the average Joe out there on the street isn't going to be able to be a pilot or a mechanic, but there are allot of positions within that guide that are designed for someone with little to no education.  I just finished high school.  I should know.

 3.  Wow, American Careers can help you to apply with any airline that is hiring.  There are many different positions that are out there and that are currently open.  It seems to me that allot of individuals don't even take the time to call American Careers for assistance after they get their guide. I don't know how much of a skill set that you have to have to be a baggage tosser.  Yes, I said tosser.  You have got to be kidding me.  You seriously think that it takes a master's degree for a position like that.  I am a gate agent right out of high school.  I called the # and got the assistance that I needed from American Careers.

American Careers does tell people all of this up front!  It is clearly on their website.  They encourage people to visit their website.  I know because I called the hotline myself.  I don't know what you are ranting about.  It has been there for over 6 months.  I got my job right around 6 months ago.  So I truly don't get your idea of rip off scam.   American Careers provides everything that they say that they will and more.

4. So in essence, if you would have done as American Careers had instructed you to do in the first place.  You would have known everything that you just listed on here.  Wow....God Bless Your Little Heart.
