American Credit Solutions fraudulent ripoff business from hell tricked and lied to us Tampa Florida

I was contacted by American Credit Solutions in August of 2002. I was told that I would receive a credit card with a credit limit of $4500 and all I would have to do once I received the card was charge $100 and make 3 on time payments of $33.00 and my credit limit would be increased to $7000 to $7500. All I had to do was pay $199.99, which was taken directly out of my checking account.

I was so convinced that I would be receiving a credit card that when I got the card I tried to use it at Wal-Mart. When the card didn't work...I immediatly called American Credit Solutions to find out what the deal was. That's when they explained to me that the card was a merchant card, not a credit card. A little late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On top of it all after the $200 charge to get the card when you ordered things from the catalog you had to send in more money.

I contacted American Credit Solutions and told them that I was extremely unhappy with the way things were handled and that I had been lied to. I told them that I wanted a refund. They told me that they would research it and call me and let me know what they found. I never heard from them, so I called them back. When I called back I received a message to submit any questions or concerns about the company to a specific address. I kept trying all the numbers that I had to the business and receive a message and then I would be completly cut off.

I am ready to contact my lawyer and file suit on this company for fraud and theft. They have all my personal identification information, including my social security number. I have closed the bank account that I gave them to withdraw the money. I feel that not only have I been ripped-off, but my privacy has been invaded.
