 I received a phone call from someone called Karen today saying she represents ADHW, the American Disadvantaged Handicapped Workers.  She told me she was doing me a courtesy of calling because my account was deliquent and going into collections.  I asked her how that was possible because I had not ordered anything from and she told me that I orderd candles in Decmber of 2011 and had not paid. 

She said I owe them $43.00 and that my account was going to collections on Monday of next week.  I told her I have never orderd candles from them and have only ordered light bulbs in the past.  She told me I was wrong and that my account is deliquent and would be sent to an outside collection agency.  I am not willing to ruin my credit over $43.00 so I feel I have to pay for something I did not order and did not recieve.  These people are terible.  The claim to be a charity helping the handicapped and disadvantaged and they take advantage of eir contributors by threatening to ruin their credit if they don't pay a certain amount of money. 

These people are commiting extortion by doing this and they need to be stopped.  I asked to be sent every letter or notice they have ever sent me.  I also asked for a copy of the recording with me ordering the candles and was denied.  I told Karen to send me an invoice inthe mail within the next 7 days, I am going to have to pay this money just to keep them from reporting it to the credit bureaus.
