American Income Scammed by American Income now unemployed for asking too many questions ripoff Meadville Pennsylvania

I must have sucker written on my forehead, scammers find me no matter where I go. I thank God I stumbled onto this site because of an incident with American Income. I was hired the same way all of you guys were via the internet.

I spent the money for class and licensure, fingerprints and FBI reports. I was hired on 3-13-06. It is now 7-18-06, I am not working because I gave notice at my other job over a month ago. Lots of money going out, none coming in.

I went for training a week ago and got my scripts to memorize but could not bring myself to do it. When I went back I explained to my trainer/supervisor that I didn't understand the sales tactics when the consumer knows we are coming to talk life Insurance, right? NOT! I asked to see a copy of the lead cards (yellow) and there was nothing telling the consumer we were coming to sell them anything. It was a scam to get a foot in the door, then using guilt and manipulation I was to sell them a supplemental policy.

My Manager became angry that I asked to many questions and said She has never had anyone like me ask so many questions about the integrity of the company. How dare I question and analyse the materials given to me. She told me "We don't hire you to think, we hire you to do!"

I asked about the possibility of revising the script to be a little more friendly. Her reply was, "You cannot go into a home like Suzy Home-maker, looking all pretty and asking about the kids and telling them they have a nice house. If you do that while I am training you, I will slap you side of the head and send you back to the car. You need to take control of the situation, not make friends." Needless to say the training did not go well and I left.

I later recieve a phone call from my supervisor (Cindy) telling me she spoke to her supervisor (Mr Scott Keeny) about our meeting (he only hears her side of the story)and he feels that I am no longer needed because I was too negative and not being a team player. "We have zero tolerance for negativity here." I understood his position, did not argue, and I hang up.

20 Minutes later, I get a phone call telling me they will give me a second chance if I would be more cooperative and respectful, less negative. Cindy pretended to call MR Keeny to beg for my job back on my behalf if I agreed to SUBMIT to authority and start trusting the company a little more. She told me she was "aware of my situation and wanted to get me started right away."

I am not sure of this, but when I was hired I was asked to sign some papers regarding sponsorship and routine paperwork, (They also asked for my Social security card and drivers license of which they made copies), but I never read the sheets I signed (I know, stupid, stupid me).

I have a gut feeling they did a credit report on me and saw my financial state and used a scare tactic of being fired, so I'd beg for my job back and submit to their control. Three of my supervisors were ex-military and definitely treated me like one of their soldiers.
