American Standard Financial Services They called and said we qualified for a government grant, said there was a $369 processing fee and asked for banking information Nashville Tennessee

On September 10th, 2007 my girlfriend got a call from American Standard Financial Services informing her that she qualified for a government grant. They told her there was a $369 processing fee and asked for a routing number to her bank account so they could charge her account. She didn't have a bank account so at that point she woke me up to get my banking info. I gave it to them and they said it would be charged on the 14th of September. They told me if I wanted to cancel I would have to do that at least 2 days prior to the 14th.

After I got off the phone with them I started to wake up enough to realize I had probably been scammed so I did some research and discovered there were many rip off reports on them.

I called them back to cancel and they said I could not cancel yet because it was not processed yet. They said I had to wait until the 12th and call back. I'm guessing that when I call back then, they're probably going to tell me it's too late to cancel.
