I feel the pain of absolutely every single person who has been complaining about this company lately. They are going down the DRAIN. As it stands right now, I was targeted as well and cannot access the queue because I dared to challenge one of their staff members about a situation that was totally wrong! It was similar to many of these other reports here on this site about having articles returned to me with the staff claiming I made "grammar errors," when in reality, the problem is that the clients and many of the AMS staff members do not speak English and try to use software to edit the articles instead of human eyes. Well, we all know that software does not always work the way it should. I use perfect grammar and have been a professional writer for years. When I tried to get the situation resolved I received this e-mail reply from a staff member named Janet De Leon...this is an exact copy and past:

 

Hello,

As I have said we have nothing to do with UAW editors maybe you can contact them and ask why?

They use general rejection terms because some of their clients are chinese, turkish etc. and cannot understand simple grammar writing rules.

If you are not comfortable working with us or with our incompetent staff as you said you always have a choice to DISABLE your account.

As you can see, in so many words she said that they don't know or care exactly why the articles are getting returned, but if you're not happy, deactivate your account. What a lousy way to treat a good writer. I wasn't trying to deactivate my account, I was trying to get to the bottom of the issue. Apparently they can't be bothered to do that.

And shortly after I received this e-mail, they blocked me from the queue. But I just thought I would post it here to back up with the other person said about constantly being told to cancel your account when you get frustrated because no one will help you. That's their pat answer for everything : "if you don't like if there's the door." and if you dare try to pursue it after they make it clear they don't want to be bothered, they react with spite and retaliation. That's what they did to me. They blocked me from the queue because I dared to try to get an issue resolved! I can see why so many people are coming here to file complaints. If they would be decent and address their writers who have issues maybe they wouldn't have a list of complaints as long as their arm on a site called "ripoff report." That other poster is correct. They should be ashamed.

The company is a ripoff

Unfortunately, even though this Janet person apparently took exception to being called "incompetent", the fact of the matter is....London brokers staff ARE incompetent, and they DO NOT respond to issues WHATSOEVER.

 

Writers' pay is late EVERY WEEK. That is a FACT.

Staff do not speak fluent English. Making it very hard to get ANY type of issue resolved. That is a FACT.

When the non-English-speaking staff gets on a live chat with a writer and does not understand what the writer is saying, they hang up. That is a WELL ESTABLISHED FACT.

When writers complain about these conditions, they are told 'there's the door'. That is also a FACT.

So, apparently the owners of this company are of the opinion that writers should not only take this kind of abuse, but they should also SMILE about it.

Referring to an incompetent staff as incompetent is what happens when the staff is ( drumroll) incompetent.

London Broker/AMS/Myams IS a terrible company. I came here to file a complaint about them and saw this post and Janet's rude response and all I can say is that the poster is correct. Myams/LondonBrokers treats writers HORRIBLY. They ARE spiteful, they are racist and they DO refuse to help you. This many writers would not be filing reports about this company if there were no basis to their complaints. People resort to sites like this when they are ignored or abused by the company. I hope word spreads about how hateful and spiteful this place is to work for. I am going to cancel my accoutn with them later today. Everything I read here sounds like my own story, which I will probably be back to file later.

 You as a writter KNOW the impact of YOUR words. If someone who didnt like the process turned around and sent ME an email stating that the employees were 'INCOMPETENT" I think I would do the same and block you. You MAY be a writter, but your not that much of a HUMAN. You DO NOT get resolution by name calling. YOU KNOW THIS, so why act surprised when they no longer wish to play with you.

YOU say they react with SPITE. You and I both know it was YOU who threw the first verbal punch. They are right if you do not like the service there is the door and there are plenty of other sites you can visit. As for complaints about them, I dont know. All I CAN say is that you and EVERYONE else out there are GREAT at playing a victim. You think that you can get better results posting your drivel all over the web. Fact of the matter is that PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN OVER ANYTHING!! So each post has to be viewed and examined for the truth of their individual situations. ABout 95% of the complaints ANY company recieves are fake or false.
