Ann Wasserman was retained to represent me in a custody battle to protect my daughter.  She took my money and dropped my case after attending a hearing.  She refused to return phone calls, faxes and letters and emails.  She only responded to other attorney's calls on my behalf.  I reported her to the bar, and at times she would respond to appear to 'appease' me so I wouldn't pursue my complaint, only to drop my case again after the complaint period would expire.   This went on for a period of over 2 years.   Meanwhile, my daughter was abused, in every way.  Eotionally, physically, mentally and sexually (I found out about that later when she returned home to me at 18) as a result of Ann's negligence to my case.  I was broke and couldn't afford to hire another attorney.  I felt bullied and belittled by Ann.  Her staff was cold and very protective of her.  I was the bad guy!  I sent out letters to everyone, the Attorney General, the Bar, every news and radio station and newspaper and consumer organization I could think of, to no avail.  Nobody cared, and Ann didn't care that I was reporting her to everyone.  She was very arrogant.   I was never able to fight after Ann ruined the case at this point.  After fighting her for 2 years, I just had no more fight in me.  My daughter and I just waited out the rest of her childhood in darkness until she turned 18 and came home.  My complaint with the Utah State Bar is a secret though.   If you contact them you'll be told Ann Wasserman has a clean record.  Not so.  Not so.
