Annie- Pet groomer, walking, daycare,40 years experience mutilated my dogs tongue while grooming, sores on body from being clipped too closely Boyton Beach Florida

Brought my dog to "Annie" to groom.  My dog is my service dog and is 3 years old and very well behaved.

Annie was more interested in the conversation going on with myself and her friend,  instead of watching

what she was doing she cut a chunk of my dogs tongue off!  My dog was bleeding profusely.  Annie yelled at me to

get out of her apt.  I waited outside for about 20 min. When the bleeding subsided I took my dog home. Once home

she started licking and her tongue started bleeding again.  I asked Annie to drive us to the E.R. She wanted to take

my dog back to her home! We did go to the E.R. and the whole time Annie said "this happens all the time" and it's

going to cost $400.  It's like this has happened to her before.  My dog also had sores all over her torso.  Vet said from the

being too close to her skin.  All I want is for Annie to own up to what she did and take responsibility.  She did pay

for the E.R. visit (which she got off very cheaply) but we've been back to the vet. 3x since and Annie refuses to pay.

Needless to say she was negligent and needs to take responsbility for what she's done.  I wouldn't trust her in my animals

care whether it be grooming or pet sitting.  If need be, I will have to take her to small claims court.  Please be careful who 

you have groom your pet.  Make sure they are licensed. as I'm sure she is NOT.  Definitely not with Palm Beach County.
