Well I worked for Apollo auto glass for a while. I noticed that Brian the owner was a huge liar.
to the customers and to the people who worked for him.
He has zero morals and probably replaces his own mothers windshield ten times a month, just to make a buck.

One of his favorite things to say to his employees is
"Unless you get at least two complaints about you harassing people about their windshield per week you are doing something wrong"

Sometimes Brian when he gets busy will just take peoples insurance info from them charge there insurance and not do any work.

This is called fraud, and I have personally seen him do it.

A couple times I had to cover his a*s when the customer came in yelling fraud, I told them that it was not intentional and I would do the work for them right now.

I was at first taken with Brian because hes charming and makes you trust him very easily. Somehow I managed to believe him when he said that I wouldnt need to keep good records of my sales because that was what our "secretary" was for and she would keep good track so I could focus on selling.

Well that went fine for a while (about a month and a half) Then all of a sudden I started receiving checks that where less then I sold for the company and I know all of my installs went in. But I couldnt prove anything because I didnt keep good track.

I accept responsibility for that.

After that I kept great track of what I sold, my check where still coming in short, I decided that I could not work for someone who stole from me and every time I would ask him or the "secretary" I would get the run around or just a comment like " why didnt you keep better track" I didnt because I trusted them, and that was a huge mistake.

I quit my job and I did not leave a two-week notice because I felt it was one of the only ways for me to fight back a little, to leave him high and dry.

Well he was so mad about this that he has withheld my check and he still owes me over $500.00 and Im not sure I will ever see this money I went to him and tried to talk to him but he just blows me off and says that he will send my check but he has done nothing. When I tried to explain why I left, he would just turn things around try to make it all my fault.

Also I have not received my tax papers from this "company" and the deadline was jan30th.

"You just werent smart enough to keep track, thats your problem your checks where accurate"

Well these are mighty big words for someone who dropped out of college to become a scam artist.

I called him just recently and he said he sent it, so I waited another week and a half and still nothing.

Apollo Auto Glass is a tiny company that thinks its big and has a haughty jerk for an owner. He doesnt care about the quality of work his people do he personally doesnt even do good work most of the time.

For every happy customer there are two pissed off.

All winshield companies a scam artist's!!!!

AUTHOR: Dave - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 18, 2007

Well So I guess I asked for my job back....
Hmm thats interesting, I dont remember doing that.
I remember brian calling me over and over agin offering me my job back.
I admit i didint say no but I didnt say yes.
Im not here to squable im here to prevent this from happening to anyone else, I have worked for three windshield companys, each one promising the world and failing to deliver anything but excuses.
I have been to trusting to buisness owners that "seem" trustworthy, but trully are not at all.
in total I am owed over $2000.00 for sales that I was never paid for in any widshield company i have worked for.

So in short I have left the widshield buisness and would recommend that if you are looking for a new career, do not ever go into the winshield sales buisness.

I realize after much time trusting people with my money, that I can only trust myself.

thank you for reading
David Henderson

p.s thanks for the job offer brian but I would rather stick my wiener in a box of needles while singing old mccdonald had a farm.

If it is true....then why has DAVID asked for his job back?

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 12, 2007

Just to end this silly dispute.

DAVID HAS RECENTLY expressed a very distinct personal interest in re-joining our team. Hmm....?

Curious isn't it?

If the above allegations were remotely true, rather than the death rattle of a disgruntled ex-employee, wouldn't David be keeping a healty distance? I suppose some are just gluttons for punishment ;)

I've also come to learn that David's employment was terminated with Diamond Auto Glass. He was quickly rehired by Free and Clear Auto Glass....only to again be terminated. This all within a few short months. Are we seeing a pattern here?

David is a sub-par businessman with big dreams. When these dreams are not realized, he lashes out. As witnessed here.

Anyhoo -

Hope this settles the matter.

Please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Brian

If you did not receive your last paycheck or if payment on the check was stopped, CONTACT YOUR STATE LABOR BOARD. Employers have no right to withhold wages and will be penalized for doing so (in addition to getting you your money)!

Well I must say brian does have a way with words.
You have to to sell tiny chips on a widshield to little old ladys and people that doent have any clue about insurance companies.
Insurance companys do need there to be "REAL" damage on a windshield before they will pay for a claim.

I also told brian that I knew stewart when I was an insurance agent.
I didnt "feed" him info until I was nolonger employed with apollo.
In fact i didnt even call him until the position that I wanted at a design firm was taken by somone else. And I knew i had widshield sales skills so I called an aquantance Stewart Weatherman.
and spent about 15min trying to get him to remember me but when he did he hired me.

I never signed a non compete infact it took him about two months to even get me the papers to sign. And at that time there where only tax papers w9 to be exact wich means Im a sub contractor. that means Im not bound to give notice nor do i have to sign a non compete. and believe me i have talked to a few lawyers about this.

please dont take my word for it come wash your car at the desert auto spa at thomas&hayden in scottsdale arizona brian has another car wash in scottsdale. but you wont see him there just his employee.

that same employee told me brian was no longer allowed to be there anymore, because he was taking the carwash tickets after they had been witten, and was rewritting them and giving the people lower prises for doing buisness with him for there windshield. So basicly he was steeling money from the owner. and he got caught. His employee had to talk the owner of that carwash into letting him stay, and the owner of the wash said that only Jason, Brians employee may be there from that time on, because they had a trusting relationship with him.
Jason wanted to come and work for me at Diamond but brian baught him a Cadillac to buy his loyalty.

Now brian is just playing the victim but if you have a crack on your windshield go to his wash and just say no to him then he will either verbaly atack or he will just give you the dirtyest look you have ever recieved.

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company

RE: Apollo Auto Glass ripoff bad company to work for they steal from you and they have zero morals Scottsdale Arizona

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 29, 2007

First, let me thank you the objective reader for taking the time to read this report and consider the other side to this story.

It is unfortunate that public slander has become as easy as a few keystrokes. In a more typical situation I would let such a report pass as water under the bridge. However, in this, the "age of information", I feel it is necessary as the business owner to give you the CORRECT infornmation regading this subject.

The only amount of truth to these articles is that both Shelly, and the unnamed (David Hendersen), were formerly employed by our company; Apollo Auto Glass. What you will find interesting, and what I later came to learn as truth, is the fact that these two "emplyess" were placed as "moles," or "insiders" for another auto glass company, and one of our main competators; Diamond Auto Glass.

The first article was written by a Mr. David Hendersen, long time friend and employee of Stuart and Martha Weatherman, owners of Diamond Auto Glass. David began his employment with Apollo Auto Glass as every other sales tech or office representative would, by filling out employment papers. I require each of our many employees to sign various employment forms, the most important for being a non-compete, non-disclosure form. In short this prevents (legally) any employee from using privelaged information obtained through their employment against our company in the event of resignment. As you read, you will realize that not only has David been doing exactly this, he has been breaking the law. We will be filing a lawsuit agains both David and Diamond Auto Glass.

David began his employment with Apollo with a negative attitude. As the sales manager/trainer, I do everything I can to encourage our sales team. I treated David to countless luncheons, offered many word of encouragement, closed sales for which he would collect commission, and even went as far as to loan he and his wife money to make the payment on their trailerhome. For which David showed little gratitude. It seemed David did not want to be working with us, yet he continued his employment...raising my curiosity about his motives.

After a few short weeks co-workers and clients alike began to "warn" me about his overly curious nature. He would ask to be told about protected information that, if leaked to a competetor, could be very damaging to our company. This information related in no way to his position as a sales technition. Soon after, David abruptly quit, sighting a better opportunity in insurance sales somewhere in Utah - now an obvious lie. Part of his resignation "speech" included the phrase "I know enough about Apollo to bring it down."

David is now fully employed by a Mr. Stuart Weatherman, owner of Diamond Auto Glass. This is in direct violation of his signed and datd non-compete, non-disclosure contract. However, what is more hurtful, David has been printing his OWN rip off report and taking it to our current employees and clients, passing it off as a anonymous employee in efforts to recruit our workers and business. That is the reason he left no name on the report.

As for the second report written by Shelly, she too was a former employee of our company. She was a secratary, not an "office manager" as you may have read. Shelly left abruptly just as did David, and within a week of David. Shelly, however, left without warning, and gave no reason for resigning. It was disheartening for me as Shelly was well received at Apollo. We all liked her and her son "Marky" who would come to our office nearly every day. I definetly enjoyed havin the two around. I have not followed Shelly, however, it would not suprise me after reading her slanderous report, if she too, went to work for Diamond Auto Glass.

In my defense, I am NOT a scam artist, and I have dozens of customer and client testimonies to verify that fact. I am a hard workng young man who has been running Apollo Auto Glass for over 5 years (wohoo made the 5 year mark =)!
If you have ever been an employer you would agree that having someone resign , or terminating their employment is troubling enough. However, when someone goes behind your back to hurt you personally, and professionally, that is low and is a different ball game all together. I always work with morals and ethics.

I ask only this of you, please disregard these two "reports" as namecalling and trash talk from a competetor.

Most Sincerely,

Brian

Owner/Operator of Apollo Auto Glass

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

its all true

AUTHOR: Shelly - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 27, 2007

I was the office manager for apollo while you were employed there I did bill out and pay you for everything that came across my desk. I am sorry if it was incorrect where the discrepencies were I could not tell because I did need names to cross reference with jobs done. when you quit I made up checks for jobs that had gone through and would give them to the owner to sighn. he waited for a very long time I actually quit because I saw what he was doing like instead of fixing valid warranty issues he would try to have me set up new claims to make more money for the company instead of fixing the problem and doing good business.

I recieved multiple complaints about him in the office and when I would try and help them and had to explain to the customer that he was in fact the owner they were even more despondent and it was even harder to fix the problem. Brian the owner in fact put a stop payment on my paycheck and has yet to send me a last paycheck when the stop payment was issued it messed up all my bills and my bank account. when I spoke to him about it he said to me " you get what you give" that is true but no one is god so you cannot choose how someone should be punished. I would not have apollo do any work for me the owner cant even pay his house payment or electric bill in the office they came to shut the power off as I was working and they also put up a forclosure notice. They dont even service their own customers for replacements they sell it out to another company. this is why he cant retain employees.
