Apollo Pools of Valrico Florida, EIN – 223970446 in collaboration with John Pignataro, owner, License No.1457589 / CPC1457589

Wednesday May 15th, 2013 To Friday May 24th, 2013.

1. The pool was drained on 5/15, 4 days later numerous cracks around the concrete deck appeared and widened by 1mm to 2mm more. I called the company immediately via my cell (phone record available) and although I have photos proving otherwise, "Paul" arrived the next Monday and said "they were all existing", which is untrue.

Mr. Pignataro arrived to my residence on Tuesday and threatened "all construction will be halted if I chose to contest the cracking" (which he said he would not cover).

Under "great pressure" by Mr. Pignataro, I agreed to allow the construction to continue. At that time Mr. Pignataro said "he did not know when he could continue work (blamed it on 40% chance of rain)". In desperation I signed the completion letter, hoping would it motivate him to finish the project.Mr. Pignataro then said “signing the letter would be a good gesture; yes we will finish it this week”.

At the time I signed the letter I felt personally threatened by Mr. Pignataro, and I feel his actions were a way to "scare" me into walking away discrepancy of this urgent matter. Under duress, Mr.Pignataro bullied me into signing the completion order to finish the construction.

Text message correspondence with Pool Company is also available.

2. Alarming "Pool Acid leaking onto deck and grounds: Apollo Pools stacked highly corrosive acid vertically with no coverage from the rain which resulted in the softening of the cardboard boxes to fall and leak on the deck causing permanent stain damage to deck, and contamination of the surrounding grounds, and quite possibly ground water (photos to which are also available).

3. Unauthorized signage display on property; in spite of my direct instruction the pool company not to do so. The home association clearly posts “No Solicitation” at the entrance of the subdivision.

4. Unauthorized use of my personal backyard pavers to "hold up" Apollo Pools Equipment. The company removed my pavers, patio chairs, other items, and after doing so DID NOT replace pavers properly when the project was complete. Company left trash on my property everywhere.

My property is monitored 24 hr by video security; all video proof has been archived.

5. Unauthorized “Belly Belt” was permanently placed inside pool. At no time did I authorize Apollo Pools to install a “Belly Belt”; the belt ARE OF "mismatched" colors and tile.

6. Poor Surfacing on step corner and THROUGHOUT pool; (see link below for photos; additional photos are also available)

7. Apollo Pools personal broke a new $162.00 LED light bulb. As seen in photo the light fixture[installed by pool company] after completion, is loose against the glass plate. Since the pool was starting to fill with water, I opened the light fixture, took a picture of the damage, then had to “super glue” the broken led light into the socket to remedy the problem so that the led would not shine downwards.

8. Apollo Pools personal is seen “playing and throwing” personal property which was not authorized.

9. Apollo Pools personal seen "carelessly" tossing an electrical cord around pool which caused the electrical cord to fall into the water and the breaker to trip, causing me to leave my place of work (losing an hour of pay) to reset the breaker. *Admittance of this is saved on my voicemail.

10. Destruction of property (Plants and landscape lighting)

Apollo Pools personal placed a water tube dispensing pool water directly onto foliage and landscape lighting destroying plants and damaging lighting.

11. The pool surface lookshorrible. Likely due to “wheel barrowing” in the cement, and improper mixture of the Tahoe blue dye. The surface has white blotches everywhere. Mr. Pignataro said they only use an appropriate "cement truck" on "commercial jobs".

This entire ordeal was a horrific experience. Not only did I feel threatened by Mr. Pignataro the project was done poorly.

In my opinion Mr. Pignataro was rude, unethical, and “bullied” to me into acceptance of the work. I have since discovered multiple and historic bad reviews regarding Apollo Pools online leading me to believe their poor business practices are systemic.
