I signed a rent to own agreement for a 13" TV with built in VCR. AFter 9 or 10 months the VCR started making noise which I did not report because they are not customer friendly and I knew it would be hopeless. My total to purchase this 13" would end up being approx $250.00+. I fell late on my second to last payment and they have been harrassing me at my place of employment with numerous phone calls. Approx. 3 weeks ago I went in to pay it off. They had quoted me approx. $32.00. They could not take my pay-off because of problems with their computer system... but they could take my bi-monthly payment of 13.00.I have made another payment since and now my pay-off is now up to approx. $43.00+.
Smiley has been calling my work place and being non-professional and rude. He also hung up on me when I aske dto speak to management. He stated he was management and refused to give me contact with someone above himself. I will be returing the TV today and I will go to WalMart to purchase one for $59.00. I will never deal with Arron's Rentals again and I will file with the Better Business Bureau for our area. I have purchased items through rental centers befroe and was never treated as rudely and disrespectful as Arron's Rentals.
