I have purchased over $ 6000 of furniture at that store. I was promised 4 to 6 weeks delivery . They arrived 10 weeks later. some of the pieces came in damaged . I had a hard time getting them to agree to a replacement. "their policy says , no replacement, just repair"
I paid for New not repaired furniture.

It is now 5 month , and I just received a call today, for a delivery. Waited ALL Sunday, 7 AM to 4 PM. They never showed up , nor called to say they won't show up. It is amazing that you can never get a manager to talk to you , they are always busy with clients.

I am threatening to go there and sit all next weekend and wanve a sign all weekend long. It is the worse company I have had to deal with. BEWARE , once they gety your money , you are done, they will now tell you how things are going to run.

They lie, they cheat, anmd have NO respect for clients. If anyone is starting a law suit , I will pay my share of attorney fees to stop them from hurting someone else. THEY ARE THE WORST.

Ashley Furniture = JUNK

AUTHOR: Peter - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 16, 2006

Did you take a look at the furniture before you bought it, comparing it to similarly-priced pieces at other stores? Just a quick look around is enough to tell anyone that Ashley is pure junk!

If a bedroom dresser is made of 2/3 particle board covered in tacky paper that is made to "look" like wood, it is not made well. If the display pieces in the store are already scratched, torn, or dented, obviously they do not hold up well. If no one in the store can honestly answer your questions BEFORE the purchase, they will not provide decent service AFTER the sale.

Buying junk, I mean "furniture," from Ashley is a MISTAKE, as you have found out.

Ashley Furniture has no customer service

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 15, 2006

I bought a $2000 dollar bed from Ashley to set my $2000 dollar mattress on. It was delivered with missing pieces even the "technicians" that delivered and set it up said the regularly get missing pieces. So I waited the 3-5 weeks for my missing parts..got no update no call, nothing...I call them, another 4-6 weeks. I said this is unacceptable, their suggestion go to home depot and have some wood cut to put under my bed...I said I would take the parts off the floor model but they said no. So, I filed a report with the BBB, two days later I have the offer of the floor model parts...sorry too late for that...I requested a full refund and got it, the picked up the half a bed a couple days later. Then about 9 months from the time of purchase, I get a UPS delivery that contained the missing parts...the thing was, it was for the wrong bed.....its amazing Ashley can even stay in business..you can never reach customer service, it takes a phone call to the corporate office and complaints to the BBB to get anything done.

Ashley's policy

AUTHOR: Sarah - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 10, 2005

You were never PROMISED 4-6 weeks. The order that you signed states that the merchandise is on order for "approximately" 4-6 weeks. It is always an estimate. Whether the merch arrives early, late, or right on time, there is no breach of contract.

Ashley Furniture's policy states that they attempt repair before replacing furniture. If the attempt fils and they cannot bring the damaged piece to factory standards, it is then replaced. If the merchandise meets factory requirements after repair, how is that any different than new furniture? If I am driving a brand new car to your house and I have to change the tire on the way over, are you going to tell me that is a "damaged" automobile?

No store can help a customer who will not accept help.
