WOW!! Where do I start with this company?? I started off with a low APR and then within a few months it was up to 29.75%.I was paying over $80.00 in just interest fees. I finally paid down the card and had just a small amount left on the card.

I sent in the payment a week before it was due and then on the due date I called to see if my final payment had been posted. I am a female with a deep voice so as always I was asked full name, social security number and the mother's madian name, which I did provide. I was told by the CSR that never even gave me his name that once the company receives the payment that they hold it for 7-10 days. I asked if while it was in their possession if it were to pass my due date would I be charged?

He informed me that I would. He also stated that he must follow the rules and that is the rules. I asked where that was stated and he said that it is not anywhere on my statement, he is just told to tell customers that. I told him that I would be happy to follow the rules as long as they are disclosed to me ahead of time. I asked him why they were not disclosed ahead of time and he was not sure and I asked him to find out for me and he put me on hold to find out. After 20 minutes he just came back on the line and disconnected.

I called back and went through the same hassle of proving that I am who I say I am and then at this point I am transferred to a very RUDE gal that worked in the Security Department by the name of Sonya. I went through the spill of how I was told that the company would hold my payment for 7-10 days before processing it. She stated that the person was wrong and it is 7-10 mailing process. I told her that she had customer service reps misinforming people and she stated to me "We are concerned with you not the employees."

She also stated that she believed that I was not whom I said I was and that she would freeze the account until I provided Documentation "ID, Social Security Card, Utility Bill" She then made a sly remark "It would not have escalated to this.." and just mumbled to herself. So in my opinion she did this as a revenge tactic. I did fax in the documents and called her back. She found out who I was and put me on hold... about 5 minutes later she hung up on me.

I called back and talked to another rude lady by the name of leslie that informed me that regardless of the documnetation that my account would froze. I asked why and she informed that my ID stated I was a female, but I am clearly a male. I asked how she new that and she stated "By the sound of your voice, your clearly a male." I feel discrimintated against clearly by the fact that I am female with a deep voice. I cannot believe that based soley upon someone's voice you can be discriminated against. I feel these employees in the security department are very rude and uneducated and this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I will be cancelling this card and possibly looking at advice on my legal rights concerning this situation.
