Asset Acceptance LLC, Asset Acceptance Corp Scammers- Not My Debt! Warren Michigan

I am getting calls and letters for Asset Acceptance LLC and when I called them to find out what this was all about they say it's a loan from 1990. When I ask for details they say they have to send for the documentation and it will take 12 to 18 months. The only loan I ever had is paid off in 1995 and I received my title back from my car at that time.

I checked all 3 of my credit reports and this is not on any of them. So they want me to pay $3,090. 30 or $927.09 (some kind of settlement?) of a debt that they can't tell me anything about for 12 to 18 months. I have paid all my debts in the past even some very substantial medical bills. They say they bought this debt from another company.

When I called they also expected me to pay on the spot which I will NOT do. I am mad as hell and will not let this company get away with this. I am filing a report with the Federal trade commission, Better Business Bureau, and the State Attorney General office. After reading other complaints about this company I don't how they can live with themselves.
