RECIEVED LETTER FROM ATLANTIC LOTTERY CORP. STATING I WON 262,000 US DOLLARS ALSO A CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF 4,922.00 AND SAID TO PUT IN OUR BANK. ALSO IT SAID TO PAY TAXES OF 2,850.OO BY WESTERN UNION OR MONEYGRAM. THEN TO CALL A CLAIM AGENT MR. JAMES ROGERS AT1-902-412-1769 FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS ON CLAMING OUR WINNINGS.

I immediately reported this to the FBI and found out the scam is this......you deposit the check in your bank. You than send them the $2850.00 they request. That money is now already gone. The remaining $2072.00 in your account is also gone because the whole thing bounces...because the bank account the check came from is closed. You are than responsible to pay your bank the missing $2850 that you spent. Once this is done, there is no possible way to get your money back.

Xycorp,Inc in Palm Springs, CA IS ALSO A VICTIM IN THIS SCAM !!

AUTHOR: Xycorp Inc. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 18, 2008

To whom it may concern, Xycorp, Inc. (www.xycorpinc.com) in Palm Springs, California is not the company behind this scam. Our company is also a victim of this lottery scam. Our company name and check was stolen and duplicated!!

We have been contacted by the the FBI and also law enforcement agencies from several different states and have been cleared of any wrong doing.

We want all to know and understand that our company check numbers were stolen and used along with our name and address in this scam. Xycorp, Inc. had nothing to do with this!!

We have received calls from all over the country from people holding these checks (all the same check number) regarding this lottery.

After some investigation by the banks and law enforcement we learned what had happened. Someone had gotten a hold of one of our checks and mass produced it to perpetuate the scam.

If anyone has questions about this issue. You are welcome to call us and we can explain that the checks are not good, not to deposit them and answer any other questions that you may have. We can also refer you to our FBI contact for this case

(Our phone number is: (760) 323-0333.)

Thank you.
