AT&T Wireless Cell phone billing ripoff Phoenix Arizona

AT&T Wireless has a new scam. I have been using cell phone for years. I started a new one-year contract with AT&T Wireless over a year ago. In the past, cell-phone companies put you on a month-by-month basis after your contract expired. However, AT&T had a new scam to make huge profits.

When I received my 13th months bill it was $400.00. The reason is that starting the 13th month, AT&T wont provide any in-plan airtime at all, so I was charge for every single minute that I used for the whole month.

When I call their customer service. They claimed according to FCCs regulation, they dont need to give out any notice other than hiding one sentence in the middle of my bill for three month.

I looked over my bill word by word, finally found a small statement on the 3rd page that said: The benefits associated with the 1000 night & weekend minutes are valid through 07/03/02. Please call to hear about our exciting new offers! The sentence is misleading and doesnt mention anything about the horrifying charge that is to follow.

Please warn other innocence consumers like me to avoid AT&Ts new scandal.
