I chose to finance a car from Auto Team Portland, and when I first did so, they were very kind and helpful. I looked at a 2004 Grand Prix GT, but I didnt have all the money to finish the down payment at that time. A saleman named Matthew had told me he could work something out with his boss. I let them talk and they said that my $500 cash I had that day would be enough to let me walk with the car. They told me that if I get a call from the bank that they financed through, to tell them I paid them $1500 that day! But they didnt mind that I paid the rest ($1000) later that week.

The same night, my air didnt work (the heat or air condition), and the car battery died completely and my car didn't run. I called and complained to them and they were of no assistance. Following that, lock remote didnt work and when I tried to open the down with the key, I found that the key that they had did not fit into the driver door. I complained again to them, and they assured me that they would look into it once I finished my payment. I had finally paid them off later that week, and once I did so, they assured me that I did not need a reciept though I asked them for one. When I stopped in to finish payments, they asked me if I knew where to find weed and pills. I kept getting a call from Auto Team 3 days before my next payment, saying that they needed to install a GPS system in my car which I found was weird. The night before my next payment was due they set me up with a Repo man, and I willingly gave him the car.

I stopped into Auto Team the next day trying to figure out why they took my car. They had it back up for sale on the lot. They laughed at me when I came to find out why they took it! They said the Repo man stated my boyfriend pulled a knife out on him, which was a lie. My boyfriend and the repo man sat talking about bikes and cars, and how the repo man knew my boyfriends dad. They taunted my boyfriend Isiah at Auto Team about what the repo man. Out of $1500 they decided to write me a check for only $160 back. I feel scammed of $1500 of hard working money. But also Im shocked at these peoples customer service.
