Autolaptopstands.com Scam Took my Money but failed to send product Won't answer phones Buffalo Grove Illinois

I ordered a laptop stand for my truck from this site. I did it on line and was supposed to get a $5.00 online discount but that did not happen. I was supposed to get the product in 5 days. I called 2 weeks later and was advised my order was held up due to a part they had to order in and was being mailed the next day. For my inconvenience, they would refund 1/2 my shipping and handling fees to my credit card. That did not happen. Was told I'd receive the product in 3-5 days. That was 2 weeks ago.

I have called several times but no one answers the phones. Have left messages and sent emails requesting information on my order but they don't respond. I finally spoke to a rude woman today who advised they have been having problems with customs due to 9/11. That was 7 years ago!!!!!!!

She requested my order number and fax number and advised she'd check the status and advise. She had access to the computer right then but put me off. I'm sure I won't hear from her.

They have a professional looking website which drew my attention to them and allowed me to drop my guard. When you call, you'll be prompted to either SALES, INSTALLATION OR SHIPPING but no one answers the phones. I've literally called 25 times in the last 3 days and finally got someone to pick up the phone today who was rude and standoffish. Stay away from this company especially if this is an international order.
