In March of 2017 I responded to an add on Facebook for an anti-aging cream as seen on Shark Tank.  It read - Free samples, today only.  Only pay $4.95 shipping.  I figured I could handle the $4.95.  there was nothing about a trial period, it didn't eventak me to their website.  While checking oujt it asked if I wanted to try the eye serum for an additional $2.95 shipping. I said yes.

About a week later the product came.  I tried it, and it really irritatd my face.  I looked for information to call the company, but there was no packing slip in the box.  I figured it doesn't work, I'm only out the shipping.

In April my checking account was charged $89.77 for Eye Serum Activate and $89.71 for Reborn Face Cream.  I didn't order from that company - I ordered from Avalure.  After an incredibly frustrating search for a phonenumber, I found one.  I called the company - what a mess!  The guy I got was a royal jerk, said I signed up for a trial.  What trial?  There was nothing abot a trial. He said there was a 15 day trial and you have to cancel before the 15th day or you are charged full price.  Well, then why did the ad say free sample, just pay shipping?  If there is a trial, that should be up front in the ad.  I told him how the product irritated my skin and I want to send it back. He said they do not accept refunds and he can send me more freeproduct if I wish. I said NO!  I want my money back or I will disoute it with my bank. He told me to go ahead and disoute it, he will win, I will lose. Then he proceeded to tell me I was gong to be blacklisted. Thenhe tried to offer me a 20% discount on theproduct. I told him no, I will talk to my bank and hung up.

He called me back and said that he can offer me 40% discount. Again I told hom no and hung up.

He called again, said he talked to his supervisor and can offer me the employee discountof 50%, but I had to accept today or I would get nothing. Thenhe proceeded his speel on I will lose, he will win and I will be blacklisted. I said it sounded like he was threatning me, he said no, this is what the company does.

I disouted with the bank, they issuded a temporary refund. Today June 16, 2017 I received an email from my bank stating that they are going to reinstate the charges, there is nothing they can do and then gave me a kecture on how they can only do so much. I told themthey just lost my business and she said nice way to act when you don't get your way.  Wow - just wow.
