Bank Of America bank of america new york ripped me off for $4200 Ripoff Massapequa New York

They DID CLOSE the account (the branch claims they no longer have access to the account and the check needs to come from corp) and the 800 # is one that keeps jerking everyone around and the branch manager just keeps sayin that the only thing she can do is call or email the same dept at the toll free # she gave me.

GOT IT NOW?! I TOLD her was goin in to pick up cash and she claims she cant do that because the account was closed and she no longer has access to that money

Are you serious? How, EXACTLY did Bank of America RIP YOU OFF for $4200? Where did the money go? It's still in your account, right?

Get off the couch, and go in person to the bank and close your account, and get a check in hand immediately, or write one of your own for the amount you have in your account, then tell them to close the account.

This procedure is very simple.

The were supposed to close the account (which they did) and cut a bank check which they have claimed to have done 3x and then when I call at the end of 10days they say to wait they give some BS excuse and say they never said the check was cut and mailed that they said it was in the dept that does that but they did not say that it had gone out. in short they are full of $@#@ every time you call them.

If you have been waiting all this time, why don't you just write a check for the balance?
