They upped me to 29.25% despite my credit score being 768, and me never being late or over on their card?
If they did this to me they must be doing it to a lot of their customers, and without any real reason based on credit history or potential risks.
I sent them a letter opting out of their insane offer, but they claimed the letter came 2 days late. If that is the case then it took 9 days for a 3 day priorty mail to reach them? I simply don't believe it! When I called they refused to do anything about it. I wrote them about this and got no reply.
Based on the people I tried to communicate with on this issue, they are an insane organization that seems to think long term sucess can be had by destroying their customers as much as possible.
Avoid them and all their services. You simply can't trust them at all to do anything but take full advantage of their customers whenever they can!

Hi Richard -
I would suggest you contact the BBB and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. If you read previous reports, I reported against Bank One - they have done this to too many people...they need to be stopped.
Best of luck!
