Just to let you know I originally wanted to have them do my bathroom but changed my decision. This was around a week or so before thanksgiving of 2004. They called and I told them I changed my mind, because of the holidays and my work schedule.

To make a long story short, they keep calling despite the fact that I repeatedly told them and e-mailed them to put us on there do not call list. I have filed a complaint with the ftc.Bath fitter has violated the law and I e-mailed them to let them know and gave them the link to the FTC web site. So beaware of Bath fitter! My next move will be to take them to small claims court.

Not such a perfect fit

I like how the last person said, "if you tell them to stop calling they will do so" However this is not the case. For 3 years they have called me, after I have repeatidly asked them to never call me ever again . I filled out a form for a chance to win something, boy was that a mistake. So it has been almost 4 years now and time and time again I have asked them to stop calling me. So to the person who posted saying they wont call you if you ask. Get me off the list!

First, I will state that I have no specific knowledge of the individual situation noted in the complaint. I do know that Bath Fitter customer service complies with the Do Not Call list, and managers remove customers from the list when they ask us to do so.

I have been a CSR with Bath Fitter for quite a while now. We have always been instructed to strive to provide the utmost in Customer Service. Not only has this company been wonderful, flexible and understanding with my own needs, but they have been fantastic to work with and work for. It pains me to read such a negative Report from a fellow employee, when management has always been willing to help address employee concerns. I am proud to work for this company, and continue to help customers with their bathroom remodeling needs.

Bath Fitter is a shady company the whole way around. My job title is Customer Service Representative, but in all actuality, I'm a telemarketer. God help you if you ever fill out a card requesting Information about the company. Beware, telling the "Quality Control Department" that you are not interested only means that they won't call you for 2 days. Even if you say, "Do Not Call Me" your information will be researched and if we haven't harassed you for a long time, your name will be put back into the system. When someone says "don't call me anymore" I immediately have a supervisor enter their password which supposedly removes the number from the system. But I am daily told by people, that they have told the company to stop calling them numerous times. Even when you don't fill out a card, but call into the company, the representative will automatically ask you for your name and phone number. If you decline the free estimate, your information will be researched and you will be automatically be entered into the calling system. I'm just trying to pay my bills and waiting until I can start a "real" Customer service job. I can not vouch for the quality of product, because i have never personally seen a Bath Fitter bathroom. I have only been trained/brainwashed into thinking that the Bath Fitter way is the best way and only "permanent solution" to your problems. The pressure on the employees to set appointments is ridiculous. If you do set an appointment only with the intentions of getting them to stop calling you, then they only have the more experienced employees call to get you to reset. And if you actually go through w/ the demonstration but don't buy, they will still call you. My only advice if you don't want to be harassed is to avoid this company at all costs.
