Battle Creek Family Dentistry appears to simply be a payment mill.

Services were provided on September 23, 2008. Services were to be covered by insurance.

On October 23, 2008, insurance services were denied for reasons related to college eligibilty.

Notice was sent to responsible party on October 25, 2008, as to refusal of service.

Notice of insurance problem to Battle Creek Family Dentistry was received on October 29, 2008 via mail.

Call to Battle Creek Family Denitistry was made on Ocbober 29 regarding refusal of payment by insurance company.

Supplemental documentation was sent to illustrate valid coverage was sent to insurance company on October 30, 2008.

Request for additional information was received from insurance company on November 28, 2008.

Additional information regarding insured status was mailed to insurance company December 1, 2008. At this time payment was also made IN FULL to Battle Creek Family Dentistry at the same time (decision to pay claim OOP and wrangle with insurance company personally)

Check for complete payment was cashed by Battle Creek Family Dentistry on December 10, 2008.

Received call from collection agency on December 15, 2008, regarding said "unpaid" bill. Return calls to both the collection agency and Battle Creek Family Dentistry have supposedly "resolved" the problem.

However...will now need to monitor credit report for 3 months to ascertain all parties are communication....

If you don't want to rely on or take the time to verify or resolve insurance issued..THEN DON'T ACCEPT INSURANCE.

Simple as that.

Will not be going back there.
