Baystate Tent and Party The most unprofessional business in Massachusetts Tewksbury Massachusetts

Just finished workig for this company as a favor to a friend, and it was easily the worst experience I have had in a work place. The owners, one of which is there maybe ten percent of the time, are the most unprofessional people I have ever met. Their business is run by their office manager, who is the one and only positive aspect to the company, is treated with an astonishing lack of disrespect and is blamed/held responsible for the countless mistakes made by the owners.

If Dave or Steve let you believe for one second that they value you or your business, you are sadly mistaken. They have nothing pleasant or professional to say about any of the customers they deal with and act as though dealing with them is a hassle and huge waste of their time. The delivery men are overworked and underpaid, and often times made to work over twelve hour days, which causes them to make mistakes very frequently.

Lying is encouraged to 'shut the customers up', while honesty is a rarity, and only comes from the office manager who is then forced to deal with the unhappy customers that the owners have lied to and misled. Your convenience is of no concern to them, as they are mostly consumed by the need to get the most money out of you as possible with the least amount of effort from them. Of all the negativity in this company the most horrifying to me was the way they treat the woman who runs their company, which is basically abusive.

I would avoid working for or with this company at all costs unless you're looking to be treated like a slave, with complete and utter disrespect, shamelessly lied to, yelled at or about, or taken advantage of. I'm hoping the owners read this and it's a reality check to make them realize that something needs to change in their ethics, efforts, and the way that they treat people in general, because as it stands they are both exceptionally terrible people in every way.
