PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS REPORT!  Anyone that may be considering going to work fo BDS Marketing/Channel Partners should think twice about it.  They will lie to you, if you apply for unemployment they will hold out on submitting information, you have to call them all of the time when it comes to getting monies that you are owed.  Please, Please, Please do not work for BDS! If you do you will be so unhappy.  I just completed a 12 week project with them and it was nothing but a mess! Vincent Huemann is such a crook, he lied to everyone telling us that we will have work once the 12 week project was over when he knew all  along that there will not be any work until September.

#2 UPDATE Employee

Was it the company or you?

AUTHOR: Azguy - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, November 04, 2014

I have worked for the company for two years. My paycheck always arrives a day or two earlier then payday 100% accurate and correct. Work is limited to programs in your area, your performance on previous jobs and willingness to accept other work. After a year my manager told me things are slowing down in my area try going to the other side of the company. i was hired and working again in a week. That manager saw an opportunity for advancement for me and urged me to apply. The marketing team keeps me in mind when things pop up in my area and I am one of the first people contacted. Great work ethics and communication goes a long way with any job you work. Visit other review sites and you won't see reviews like this one. I am happy with this company and everyone I work with is as well. Average tenure for my market is 3-5 years. One rep is celebrating 10 years this month. I had no problem with unemployment between projects at first , the company didn't even fight it. When you start on the marketing side they specifically  tell you the program length. If you are interested in more work and if your client doesn't have work, you have to apply to job openings for other clients or you can sign up for a merch territory if open in your area. That one person may have promised you work, but I know the three senior operation managers for the west coast and major brands and they have never promised me anything but encouraged other programs and departments as well as advancement opportunities. I recommending reapplying to open positions and work with your fom ( not team lead!!) In finding out future programs and opportunities. I feel sorry you feel you had a bad experience, but really either you didn't follow the proper channels for more work or they just didn't want you to continue working for them. Reps I know who have worked for market star, Acosta, hallmark, Redbox, and SPAR have told horror stories and that BDS is run much better. Try working for one of them and then update your posting. Good luck and remember hard work pays off.

BDS Marketing

I Worked for BDS Marketing for about 8 years on two different accounts. I have never had any issues with money owed and am currently on unemployement. I have also worked for a few other marketing companies and BDS has treated me always fair. Keep in mind that all marketing companies are specialty contracted workers. This means that when the client no longer needs services then the program is over. If offered another position with BDS I would accept it.
