Approximately 2 weeks ago I approached Bentley of Long Island (Bespoke Motor Sports) regarding the purchase of a Bentley Bentayga Signature Edition. At that time I had specified that I required a certain set of safety features in the car as this was to be used as a family car for my grandchildren and wife. At the time of pick up, I had verbally confirmed with the salesman that the features were included in the vehicle and that 100% I would be okay. It is a whole suite of safety features called the Touring Specification, but one feature comes to mind for example purposes. There is something called the "Bentley Safeguard Plus (including City Safeguard)" which translates to auto braking when there is either a pedestrian, another car, or any other obtrusion present. Now imagine my wife with my grandchildren are in the car, god forbid, my wife is distracted for a second and she comes too close to the car in front of her. With this feature, the car would auto engage the brake and protect them from any potential collision. This is the feature that I had mandated I needed when ordering the vehicle. This is the feature, along with many others included in the Touring specification, were not included in the car despite being told they were.

I returned the car within one hour of picking it up after I realized that these features were not present. They are now giving me a hard time to get out of my contract and lease despite misleading me on the car I was picking up. This omission of information could have potentially put my family's life at risk and in danger. To top this off, they now are asking for monetary compensation for the car since they had drilled two holes to place the license plate on the front of the vehicle, something the salesman had mandated to be done despite my hesitation.
